Roy Moore Sweeps Alabama Election To Win Senate Seat
OAN ^ | December 12, 2017 | OAN Newsroom

Posted on 12/12/2017 5:25:39 PM PST by AAABEST

Our unofficial polling shows senate candidate Roy Moore is sweeping the election in Alabama by a large margin.

The president of ORobert Herringne America News would like to congratulate Moore on the fine campaign he and his wife have run.

Speaking with campaign representatives, we’re being told there are strong signs the majority of voters have come out in support of the judge.

Reports show at least 64% of voters are fiercely opposed to many of Doug Jones’ key platform issues.

Campaign officials say the latest results show Moore up by at least eight points over his opponent.

OAN would also like to congratulate the people of Alabama. We provided you with the facts and you stood your ground and refused to let outsiders steal your election.

With the senate seat now in the bag, Roy Moore will be looking to Washington where he’s set to work with President Trump on pushing through his America First agenda.

This is going to be a huge embarrassment for OAN. The crow they will have to consume (I believe) will rival Truman-Dewey.

“Our estimates are based on the results reported so far, the results of previous elections and demographic data. Unlike reported results, they attempt to account for precincts that have not yet reported their votes. The shaded area in the gauge below shows the range of our forecasts.
Right now, our most likely estimates span Jones +15 to Moore +8. The more we know, the narrower our range will be.
If we had to guess, we’d give the advantage to Mr. Jones, but the race is close.”

Sorry to step on Hildy's toes, but the NYT is saying that the overwhelming number of votes still not counted are mostly from precincts in Birmingham, with others outstanding around Huntsville and Montgomery. The NYT claims that most of those votes will be for Jones.

Yes, Moore is ahead in votes counted so far. But according to NYT, only about 440,000 votes have been counted, with over 800,000 still outstanding. If most of those votes do indeed go for Jones, he will win.

To Hildy's point, the NYT's graphs showed the 2016 elections breaking for Trump very early and were accurate throughout the night. Same as with the VA gubernatorial election. Let's hope they are not as accurate this time!

I am not exactly sure why you keep repeating that the New York Times says Jones is going to win. I am on the site and it says exactly. “based on our best guess Mr. Jones has an advantage, but the path is still open for Moore to win.”

one more time. They project based on precincts that are uncounted. They know the demographic make up. They know that the precincts yet to come in are Democrat precincts and based on that they project.
