A man walking his dog on a British Columbia beach this week made a grisly discovery: A foot in a shoe, along with part of a lower leg. Adding to the mystery is that it is the 13th foot to wash up on the Canadian province's coastline over the past decade.
"Our early analysis suggests these are human remains and we will do further investigation and testing ... in the coming weeks," said Andy Watson, a spokesman for the BC Coroners Service, about the Thursday discovery. The remains included a tibia and fibula.
The Coroners Service said all previous 12 feet were human. The service identified eight of them and determined they belonged to six individuals.
No foul play was involved in those cases, according to the Coroners Service, though it did not say how it arrived at that conclusion.

Lots of boats, kyaks, wind surfers etc in that area. Hypertherma sets in quickly in those waters. Sea critters eat all except feet in floating running shoes which sometimes float ashore.
A DNA test should tell the race of the...original owner. My thought would be victims of Japan’s last major tsunami, still washing up on shore.
If so he’s been at it since 1985 and his most recent murder was at least 2006.
That is a long run for a serial killer.
You know who DOES wear tennis shoes ?
People out on small crafts like sailboats.
You listened to every one of his Youtube vids? Wow. The one thing that I listened to (I forgot the link but the screen was a busy street at night) that really sent shills down my spine is that the actual Police Chief for the National Forest Service said that they do NOT keep records of missing people. ..which is impossible because THOUSANDS are reported to be missing AFTER they went into the forest. And that to GET the records (the chief changes his tune), it will cost $360,ooo for the “labor”. Unbelievable..
Doesn't make sense for several reasons. Hikers don't usually hike across the bottom of a lake or river.
The ocean is giving up more than a foot a year!
Not all of his videos, but I have read all seven of his Missing 411 books. You must read them, chilling accounts. If searchers do find the body, many times they are found in water, streams, swamps, rivers, ponds, and lakes.

I think they are also suicides, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say there is a space-time vortex underneath the Golden Gate bridge. When someone hits it just right, they are torn apart, with the feet getting teleported to British Columbia and the rest of them getting teleported to a big mound of body parts located in a crater on the dark side of the moon.
"It's an old Canadian message. It means 'Stephen Harper runs with the fishes.'"
If they find 30 odd feet, they have to call Russell Crowe.
Many?!?
That means some of the feet belong to people who are still right where they are supposed to be? Maybe we can ask them what happened?
Forensic Files? The show featured SC prosecutor Trey Gowdy occasionally.
I have watched every single episode of Forensic Files many times-———one of the best true crime shows,EVER,but I don’t think they showed the British Columbia mystery-———FF always shows solved crimes.

The service identified eight of them and determined they belonged to six individuals.Citizens need to be on the lookout for at least nine individuals with a pronounced limp.
Apparently the trail has gone cold.
Law enforcement is calling in the well-known expert, Dr. Scholl.
There was a theory some time back that these were suicides from some particular bridge. I vaguely remember.
When we find a crater full of body parts on the moon you are going to be hauled in to answer some hard questions buddy! :)
Clearly these are from missing lumberjacks... leaping from tree to tree...
