Wendy's said it fired an employee at the restaurant in Kennedy Township because the worker allegedly refused to serve a police officer.
People started tweeting Wendy's a copy of a Facebook post from Emma Lynn.
She claimed she went into Wendys in full uniform and that the cashier said, "I'm not taking that order."
Wendy's replied to one of those tweets saying "this employee's actions do not reflect our company's values and they have since been terminated."
It appears Wendy's did the right thing.
If I was a police officer, I’d want to watch my meal being made. . . otherwise, no telling what SJW/son of obummer would do to your meal.
More than likely, at some time in the future, this subhuman will be calling on police to help her sorry ass.
Still a few reverberations from the Trayvon & Fergusson years.
Cops should know better than to eat anywhere. Brown bag it. Save money.
They are probably safe in places where the food is already made and just put on the tray.
Many establishments reserve the right to refuse service, but that call should come from management not a cashier.
Among a staff of thousands, you’re going to have a bad egg. Wendy’s did the right thing. If I were in Wendy’s management I would have attempted to call that officer and offer a personal apology. That may have been done.
Like Je$$e Jack$$on used to do.
The perfect response to any request for help from this puke or any other like her is,
"I'm not taking that order."
That's just what I was thinking. I would amend your statement to "If I was a police officer or was wearing a MAGA hat, American flag pin, "All Lives Matter" shirt, or other item identifying me as a conservative..."
Seriously with some of the folks working in fast food these days I would be taking my lunch. Save a few bucks and maybe my health.
Getting fired is a slap on the wrist, totally unacceptable.
Serious jail time at a minimum. These thugs place all of us at risk.
Forfeiture of unemployment and welfare, and permanent ban from working at restaurants of all kinds is the least deserved punishment. Jail is the only possible permanent fix.
Reserving the right to refuse service technically became illegal with the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Irony: The Mark of Quality Literature.
Yup. I'll never forget that.
Before he said he did it, I never heard of such a thing, and couldn't imagine it.
This has been going on longer than you think (or maybe just remember).
Tommie Smith and John Carlos. 1968 Olympics. Remember ?
Yep.....NFL missed the boat.....
I was very young, but I do remember that.
In all fairness, low IQ thugs have been a problem long before Kaepernick the idiot appeared on the scene.
There was one of these stories over in Dennison Texas a few months ago.
When she was fired it turned out that she was mad because her boyfriend had been arrested.
Don’t date petty burglars.
