They are one of the most weird looking animals.
I pulled into my driveway one night and my cat had its back to the car and didn’t even turn around...odd. I get out, and he has a possum cornered. But he isn’t getting any closer. The possum walks about three feet, pauses and looks at the cat...the cat, walks parallel to it, and when it stops, the cat stops too, and they face each other.
Then the possum goes another three or four feet, as does the cat, and this repeats several times...there was something I found hilarious about it...as if the cat was looking in the mirror and saw a possum, and the possum was looking in a mirror and saw a cat...
This was back before the days of the smart phones...
