Right on!
Yes, very funny shows.
I did not know he was Gay...
Sorry folk...men don’t marry men and women don’t marry women, in my World.
Buy Gomer - thanks for the memories.
Other surviving cast members (although none had a long tenure with the show): Elinor Donahue (Ellie Walker, Andy's love interest during the first season), Jack Burns (Deputy Warren Ferguson, Barney Fife's replacement, in the 1965 season), Maggie Mancuso, sometimes billed as Maggie Peterson (Charlene Darling, who chased after Andy in a number of episodes), and Ken Berry (Farmer Sam Jones during the last season, before transitioning to the spinoff, "Mayberry RFD."),
Ok, I exaggerate slightly. Only 395,000 of the attendees are drunken. But the sober ones were chanting for Gomer as well.
Nabors was back the next year, and returned ever since as long as he was physically able to do it. The 500 loves its traditions. I think this year, I'd put up a video of Nabors singing the song on a big screen.
The shows were funny.
Nabors did a lot to support the troops in Vietnam.
Nabors is talking to God now, not you.
See, he was queer all those years he made you laugh.
The horror....
I just can’t seem to come to the place where I honor the life of a sodomite . . . who knows how many lives he has influenced to come to the dark side upon learning of his ‘secret’ life.
Got no use for him . . . alive or dead.
He sang a lot of gospel songs.
Since he was from Alabama I assumed he was a Baptist.
He might have been initially, but it says that he converted to Catholicism in the '60s.
He wasn't a loudmouth about his politics, but he was a staunch republican.
Leon...........lol........what a cutie. Always willing to share his PB&J.........;)
RIP, Gomer Pyle seeing reruns of Andy Griffith was great...
He sang The Impossible Dream in dress blues for an episode of GPUSMC.
I didn’t know a liver can be transplanted.
Yeah...in some cases they just transplant a piece. And it regenerates.
As a teen, I have to disagree with you. Most of my friends don’t care about hay marriage. We my friends are more libertarian in terms of gay rights. I have a gay friend, big deal...
Clint Howard?

Thanks to progressive schools and television/media programming forcing it upon the masses as ‘normal’.
It IS a big deal.
It is NOT natural (homo’s cannot naturally reproduce) and there is usually not very much ‘gay’ about the homosexual lifestyle.
