I contend that an automatic tax increase is unconstitutional.
And absolutely STUPID fiscal policy.
If it's in the final version then I don't see the bill passing the Senate much less the House. If it's removed I expect Corker and Lankford to vote against it.
Every year, our Federal Government spends about $3.8 trillion dollars. That’s about equal to the total GDP of Germany. Triple the size of the GDP of Russia, Brazil, and many others. It’s staggering how much our Federal Government taxes, borrows, and spends.
Yet, with GOP control of Congress there isn’t even a whisper of spending restraint. Zero, zip, nada.
What to we get? Deduction Reform being peddled as Tax Reform. Time-barred rate reductions, backstops that raise taxes if certain factors change. It’s truly pathetic.
Spit.
People need to know the facts and understand that Goldman Sachs too big to fail banksters (Cohn and Mnuchin)are the ones writing this depraved bill.
Give the corporations the 15% tax cut to stimulate business and the economy, but NOWAY IN HELL should they be engineering a PERMANENT RIP OFF of the MIDDLE CLASS to finance their schemes!!!.
PASS THE TAX BILL...
MCCAIN WONT HAVE ANYONE SHOW UP FOR HIS FUNERAL IF HES FLAKES OUT ON THIS VOTE.
NO MORE QUISLINGS.
He’ll need very good drainage
I don’t know why we think 3 Republicans will NOT vote for this.
McCain, Susan Collins are two. Who’s the other Benedict Arnold going to be?
If he votes against this bill I would suggest the top of a wind swept hill...
Thanks for that ping.
Whenever Bob Corker and Jeff Flake are involved it’s ‘red flags’ everywhere... don’t trust those two. Thanks for the ping.
They’re not even talking about passing EVerify. That would raise wages of US citizens, increase consumer spending, and enlarge the tax base.
