Interesting, in reading through the responses on this thread, I see minimal to no mention of men in this equation...
Yet there have been numerous threads here on Free Republic with Freeper men espousing the “Men Going Their Own Way” movement and being happy and proud not to get married and have families.
Of course, they blame women and feminism for poor relationships, etc. However, I suspect women who are not married would have a completely different take on the subject. I seem to recall women on these threads stating they could not find good men, etc.
Major miscommunication on this subject between the sexes IMHO.
On the contrary: As you, yourself, have just pointed out: Both men and women complain about essentially the same thing: They can't find "worthy" spouses. (How they define "worthy" is admittedly a little different, but boils down basically to "do not have good values, work ethics, etc.")
