Seriously, I’ve never heard of Mercer. I thought it was a mistake in the schedule and some local HS team was mistakenly inserted.
All of Alabama first string linebackers are out with injuries. But with that said, they still win 11 games and just lost their first regular season game in two seasons. They are still one of the top 4 teams in the country and should still make the playoffs, especially if OSU beats WI in the Big 10 title game.
The game will be on a neutral field, but will the outcome be different? Stay tuned...

Bama was grossly overrated. Their best win was against 3 loss LSU who also lost to FCS Troy!!! Oh yeah, they beat 6 loss Florida State as well.
Ahhh good ole Bear Bryant. He was once an assistant at Vanderbilt. Vandy got by Tennessee today at Neyland Stadium and now have won four of the last six games against the Big Orange.
Due to UT’s bad year the stadium was only half full...at about 51,000. But that is still 11,000 more that can fit into Vandy’s stadium in Nashville. But Vandy’s disappointing year has left their stadium less than half full much of the season.
Alabama beat #3 ranked FSU 24-7 first game of the season. They dominated them start to finish and the FSU quarterback was knocked out late in the 4th quarter. You might not remember but the BCS committee sure will. They’ll make the playoff, especially if OHU beats WI in the Big 10 title game. They also beat LSU, who beat Auburn.
At the new Ga. Dome in Atlanta this coming Saturday at 4:00 pm for the SEC Championship. Georgia played at Auburn 2 weeks ago. Auburn may or may not be the home team in the new Georgia Dome verses UGA this coming Saturday. Georgia has a chance to win, however...the odds are in favor of Auburn. The Auburn front 7 is the best in college football this season. Just my humble opinion. Georgia may have to wait a year to get stronger on its offensive line. The high school kids who are being recruited to the Athens campus are monster size for the offensive line.
You know there will be a one month break until the CFO semi finals are played. Anything can happen...
