LOL! I really think that's what's going on with Keith Richards, the guy is immortal. This is a guy who fell out of a tree a few years ago and busted his head open and STILL he lives!!! Oh yeah, and he STILL chain smokes Marlboro reds!

I actually thought this was a real life family. It partially was. Shirley Jones was David Cassidy's step-mom, married to his dad Jack Cassidy until their divorce in 1974.

Isn’t that the truth.
I look back at my family, friends, and associates and I think of folks who died much younger than I am, and I feel fortunate to have the health I have and a reasoned future ahead.

I appreciate the compliment

I must apologize for the improper use of their instead of they're. I zoned on that, didn't notice it.

Interesting thought. I have always appreciated the Beatles music. I sort of face reality when one of them passes on.
Some of the actors of the 50’s, 60’, and 70s come to mind also. Some of those folks really love the United States.
These days you wonder if people in the industry love anything other than money and fast times.

I don’t expect it to go off anytime soon, but you never know do you.
Purchased a new mo-ped about five months ago. I’m enjoying riding it all over the place. I used the assist setting most of the time, so I’m getting some pretty decent exercise. This was something I lacked, and am glad to have tapped into this now.
I should be here a few more minutes. LOL
I’m 66 and may hit my 80s, if life doesn’t smack me in the face first.

Didn’t mean to convey poor health. I’m fortunate. I have one issue that I’ve been managing for 25 years. It doesn’t bother me much.
I should be around for an extended engagement.

Yes, that’s a problem.
My folks used to belong to a camping trailer group. Almost all their friends have passed away now.

I know. Susan Dey was way hotter than 99% of most men could handle. You either have to be rich, talented, famous or really good looking to pull off 10s.
I came across that graphic years ago. I had to go searching for it, since it perfectly captures the essence of anyone even pretending to not recognize (and worship) female perfection.

I feel just as you do.
I remember going to the funeral of an old family friend who was 94 when he died. Someone remarked that there weren’t many old people there and asked “Where are his friends” and someone said “They’ve all died’.

We’re about the same age. I’ll be 67 next Feb.
Good for you having the mo-ped. I try to walk every day.

I think David Cassidy would appreciate us talking about Susan Dey in his obit thread. I believe he tried and failed to land his stunning tv sister. He ended up with a similar-looking Kay Lenz (attractive in her own right, but not as hot as SD), though that didn’t work out.
Alas, Miss Dey is over two decades older than moi, so I’d have never landed someone like her. Few females before or since have come close to her beauty.

When Keith Richards does pass on, it will probably shock all of us because we never thought it would actually happen.
Probably still a long ways off though. He might look really old but he's got that vitality and aura about him that tells me there's a lot left in that particular gas tank.
