As a person in the world in 2017, there are many things about Lawrence Taylor that you need to know. The first is that he was arrested in May of 2010 and charged with the solicitation and rape of a 16-year-old runaway who was brought to his hotel room against her will. The age of consent in the state of New York is 17.
According to the police report at the time, the girl known as "C.F." in court had been provided a place to stay by Rasheed Davis, who served 14 years in prison for first-degree manslaughter before getting paroled in 2008. The report says that when she refused, Davis punched and kicked her and then Taylor sexually assaulted her.

I’m not sure about that. The Theismann injury was more of a freak injury than anything else. LT’s dominance as an outside linebacker had changed the way the game was played long before that.
Work has been hard to come by since his Waterboy cameo days. Teen prostitutes don’t come cheap. Especially the teens under forty with teeth. Btw anyone remember the Eddie Murphy days getting serviced by transvestites? No big deal right?
It’s a funny commercial. Actually kind of made me feel bad for Theismann though, a whole day of filming jokes about his career ending injury was probably not a lot of fun.
Why is the NFL honoring a pedophile in a Thanksgiving parade? Me. Taylor is proven in a court to have raped an underage minor in a hotel room?
Wasn’t Theismann already a fading 35+ year old QB by that time?
LT was a force of nature when he played for the Giants, mainly because he played alongside Carl Banks, Gary Reasons, Pepper Johnson, and Harry Carson!

NFL is making a statement as to what they approve of. Now, if Taylor had been against a unisex bathroom, he would never have been chosen.
He was probably past his prime, hitting 36, but he could still play. Probably had a couple more seasons in him. Prior to that hit he’d been pretty durable, not a lot of injuries, then he came back with one leg shorter than the other... And I don’t even like the guy actually, he’s always kind of irritated me. But filming day probably really sucked for him.
There’s like 3 leg breaking jokes in the 30 second spot that’s airing. Probably dozens more during filming. Even a lover of attention has his limits.
My friend went to college at Fairleigh Dickinson when the Giants used to do their training camp there. The girls were all warned about LT. He harassed my friend quite a bit trying to get her to hook up with him and he didn’t like being told to get lost.
Great player.

He has had many second chances, but continues to harm himself and others.
I didn't see him early in his career but I just checked out his numbers. I never knew he started his Redskins career as their punt returner ... after he started his pro career as a top CFL quarterback!
