A woman says she was slugged in the face by a racist lunatic on the subway — all because she asked him to stop “manspreading.”

The victim, Sam Saia, said she was riding the N train through Bensonhurst while on her way to work in Manhattan when the man sat down and started overcrowding her around 7:45 a.m.
“He proceeded to press me against the wall and man spread me excessively,” she wrote on Facebook after the incident.
“When I asked him to give me room, he yelled ‘B–ch, you ain’t nothing! I’ve raped white b–ches like you, f—ing c–t! You ain’t nothing, you f—ing b–ch!'”
The woman said she put in her earbuds and tried to ignore the raging man as he continued his tirade.
But the man then socked her in the mouth, bloodying her lip and knocking her head into the wall behind her, she said.
That’s when a man ran to the woman’s defense and started grappling with the suspect.
The good Samaritan, who described himself as being “not on duty right now,” told him to “get the f–k off the train.”

This has never happened to me, being pushed aside by manspreading. I don’t ride a lot of public transport (what’s that? Lol) so maybe that is why. I have seen another kind of “manspreading” which is when guys wear athletic shorts without underwear and sit like that, and unintentionally share some views of what should not be seen in public.
In most cases they probably aren’t doing it deliberately. They’re just too dense to realize it, or too generally inconsiderate a person to even give it a thought.
I agree. He forgets he didn’t put on his undies and he’s hot and sweaty so he airs his legs out! Whoooops!
Next time you’re in public, mouth off to everyone ya see. Show them how big a man you are. Report back slick.

I have to admit that was some good advice you gave though. With a little bit of luck if you keep your mouth shut and your head down they will leave you alone and just beat up the woman. Good thinking.

Take it easy sparky. I just said this “manspreading” thing is just nuts. But even if it was rational, starting crap with someone on a subway is stupid.
I dint say she deserved it... just that he was stupid. Just like you don’t deserve to be robbed for counting your money at the ATM in the bad part of town.

Sorry, but what I said was due to my own personal experience, and not from lack of observation around that experience. It is also from recollection of notice provided of things that were not in my direct experience. I am sure there were examples of real evil that existed years ago. They didn’t enter my field of experience.
But today, in the last thirty years, I have seen far too many things I have attributed to what I think is a form of evil, I call devolution (persons who behavior wise seem be showing evolution in reverse) and people who seem to epitomize true evil.
That is MY experience. Speak for yourself from your own experience.
I guess it depends on how she addressed the perp. If she made a scene which I think she did she has to accept the danger.
I’m a huge Jerry Pournelle fan. I was a reader of his output for close to 40 years, and his blog was just required reading for me. I’d been one of his patrons there for probably a decade or more, and a reader long before that. I really will miss him, as he passed in the last couple months, as you probably know.

This is a measure of the fracturing of society along right and left lines. I have zero problem scrapping, no matter the odds. But a racist thug vs some Hillary-supporting feminist SJW? That is two enemies fighting.
Suppose the good Samaritan got stabbed and killed? Imagine his wife and children having to struggle. All so those two retards can go on destroying the nation, supporting leftism, and pissing and moaning about what animals conservatives are?
Let this happen in Texas or Oklahoma, and yeah, you ought to get into it. But the New York Subway system is enemy territory. Unless it is a cop or firefighter, I’d vote for conservatives to leave the left to the paradise they created.

That is a dangerous attitude to promulgate on our side. Nobody can predict the outcome of a fight. That little dude could have whipped out a 1.5” blade and nicked an artery in a second. Action beats reaction, and size, and even superior skill is no guarantee. It was nice of the guy to do, but given the broad is probably a leftist, it was also somewhat stupid.
When SHTF, you have to assume every conflict can be lethal. As far as I am concerned, leftists and those highly likely to be leftists are not worth it. You need to view it as you are either loyal to your own, and will do whatever it takes to get home and take care of your family, or you are more loyal to the leftists, who created the entire mess themselves anyway, and you will risk your family’s safety and security for them.

Yes, that of course is very true. I was thinking more along the lines of a straight up one-on-one between them, as opposed to the punk's straight up with the young lady.

Not necessarily a leftist, but most likely liberal. Then again, it is possible that she was republican, despite the 'manspreader' terminology. I've lived in New York City all but one of my 60 years, and, believe it or not, there are quite a few republicans and even conservatives here, even among types who, in appearance, *look* like liberals, or even hard lefties.
