Why the elephant's survival should be important to everyone.
Consider this sobering statistic: In less than a decade, the African elephant may be extinct. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in a statement Wednesday, argued that the large fees collected from permits to hunt would help fund conservation efforts—but we think there's a better way forward.
Pilar Guzmán, editor in chief of Condé Nast Traveler, sat down with Chelsea Clinton last year to learn more about the Elephants Action Network—a conservation group formed by the Clinton Global Initiative in 2013—and why the elephant's survival should be important to everyone.
Their mission: stop the demand for, killing of, and trafficking of elephants and their ivory. Some advocate that trophy hunting is one way to stop poaching; Clinton has another approach.

Oh never mind she is talking about actual elephants. Hopefully one will step on her and save themselves.
Elephant populations soared to their highest numbers ever under the legal ivory trade through CITES, a UN plan. The money given to be a member and gain rights to deal in Ivory went directly back to the preservation of the animals. Game wardens got new equipment, fuel for their range rovers, poachers were hung and the ivory confiscated sold to members for more range rovers, fuel and so on. Now, they can’t pay game wardens and they are poaching, they burn the ivory, driving up the price and demand and elephant populations are being decimated. So, hard facts are, hunters and ivory dealers care more for the elephants than animal rights hippies.

I think what is being done to elephants is horrific. But there is no way in heck I’d donate to anything with a Clinton involved. The elephants would be making out as well as the Hatians did.
Saving elephants? Well, ok. . .BUT. . . .What about God’s precious babies?

She must have seen that Facebook post about the Indians (from India, not the wooo wooo wooo Indians) lighting those poor animals on fire, now she’s going to Persist until all elephants are happily voting for #IMWITHHER
But enough about Hillary . . .
Of course Chelsea Clinton is an expert on elephant preservation. Why else would she receive a $300K salary from a group associated with the Klinton Foundation.......
