A horrified shopkeeper found a 20ft long python sleeping in her toilet.
Chalida Thawephol, 37, spotted the snake's tail after her five-year-old son went to the bathroom and told her there was something strange inside.
The mother-of-two went to investigate - then ran out screaming at the hideous sight of the super-size serpent.
She called rescuers who arrived and dragged the enormous reptile out of her milk shop into the road.
They wrestled the beast into a canvas bag - before putting a penny in a set of digital scales outside a 7/11 store to weigh it. But the animal was too big to fit on the device and was moved onto a set of rusty old scales where it read 29.7kg.
Chalida said her son first went into the bathroom and saw the snake and told her but she didnt believe him - until she checked herself.
Tragic case of ophidiophobia.
This is probably why Indians poop on the streets.
Darned big toilet if it can hold a 20 foot snake.
Doesn’t she have a Westinghouse?
No. Just no.
Too funny!
Here is photo of woman and her son in the toilet where the python was found.
The names in the article seem more like Thailand or Indonesia, which is also more consistent with the habitat of gigantic pythons.
The snoring gave the snake away.
That’s why you always check before sitting down.
Lol!
“I’m westing!”
I guess that explains why she had an upset stomach.
Snake would make a great prop for an exotic dancer!
Zorita (born Kathryn Boyd, 30 August 1915 12 November 2001) was an American burlesque dancer. She was best known for a twenty minute dance which she performed with two boa constrictors called ‘Elmer and ‘Oscar’.

Even though a python is a constrictor, it packs a nasty bite. Good thing the female found it first.

“Mommy! There’s a huge snake in the toilet!”
“Yes, dear. Daddy has been eating a lot of pork rinds lately.”
Ya gotta realize - ‘toilet’ in India largely means hole in the floor where a commode would be in the U.S.
A relatively small 20 foot python. Only 66 lbs.
