Disturbing news has emerged that Lil Peep has passed away at age 21. According to early reports, the rapper overdosed on xanax and fentanyl pills before his concert in Tuscon, Arizona on Wednesday night.

A Reddit user has compiled a timeline of the night’s events, claiming that Bexxey, one of Peep’s best friends, was seen outside the show venue in a state of shock. The likes of Lil Yachty, Post Malone, Father and Lil Pump have posted their condolences via Twitter.

Lil Peep, whose music blends rap with rock samples and features dark lyrical content, was active on Instagram just 15 hours before the alleged incident.

Stay posted for further news on this developing story as it breaks.

Chuck Berry’s tune Too Much Monkey Business. Now that is good “rap”.

Yes but it was the 80s, 1981, to be precise.

Hated it.

The damage is done....The entire world of young white folks emulate the low life attire and attitude...

It's huge in Russia, the whole hip-hop lifestyle. They've embraced everything. The music, clothes, scowling, belligerent attitude, tattoos, all of it. Beautiful Russian girls are now just as likely to have a full sleeve of tattooed skulls on their arms as their American counterparts. And the dudes are all wearing flat-brimmed baseball caps with huge logos and have tats all up their necks. Sad.

,,,,, That’s true ,,, but every song they produced was not recorded in the same way . These wanna be’s do all their recordings in the rap lack of style way .

Lil Peep was more a blend of hip hop and grunge then conventional rap in any case. His singing could actually be very sweet.

Lil Yachty... whose name made me think he would be a spoiled white kid...

Post Malone...whose name made me think he would be a tall black kid...

Lil Pump... whose name made me think he would be a car mechanic...

And Father... from Awful Records label... looks mostly normal to me...

“Chess” is one ny favorite musicals. Regarding Murray Head, I think his performance as Judas set the standard for the role. The original British concept album is excellent.

I know!

I love it!

In high school, I took a class called “Music, stage and screen” and JCS was one of the ones that really hit me.
First we got stuck with stuff like The Wizard Of Oz and Oklahoma but then the teacher split to have a baby and the school band director took over and we got “Tommy”, JCS and other rock operas.

He had us listen to JCS in the dark.

It was incredible.

He already tweeted about it and from his comments, he relays what a couple of us said!

Who’d have thought Lil Peep would die before Charles Manson?
Extinguished rapper
etc

Too bad rap can’t pass away from a drug overdose.

No kidding.

I am not a rap connaisseur :), but my son used to listen to Eminem, and he is talented (he's got one song that makes me cry every time), but otherwise, all the references in most rap songs to b**ches and h*s and violence gets old pretty quick. I suppose the genre represents a certain voice of a segment of the population. But it is a corrosive form of music. Let's have some optimism here!

if he’d lived to be 27 he could’ve joined da club.

Yes, he belongs right up there with Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse, etc.

It is kind of weird that they all died at 27.

Won’t hear peep from him now...

LOL! Literally!

Not even a Lil one. ;)

I shouldn't laugh; a human being has passed away.

But that was a funny comment. :)
