I’ve seen targets with Obama on it, no one got upset over that, so why get excited of this. If it said Hillary, then it would be a so what?
So, if you had a sign that said something bad about Obama and the sheriff told you to remove it, you would be screaming “Free speech” and you would be right. It’s only hard to protect free speech when you don’t agree with it.
Sheriffs can’t run plates ?
Knee jerk much.
You’ve gone from disorderly conduct to assault with a deadly weapon in that little rant of your.
Way to go Commando Keyboard.
I'd say they have a case.
Again, Disorderly Conduct is the issue. Not free speech.
Go out and yell “Fire” wherever you want. Just not in a crowded theater.
Sad part is, these morons can’t even formalize a reason why they hate him.
Perhaps you should do so, yourself.
You can’t yell “wolf” in a crowded theater either according to the genius Pelosi.
.
If that lawsuit happens, I am a likely candidate to be called to serve on that panel.
Let’s do this.
Like maybe see # 10.
If it had said, “Eff Trump” or “F-— Trump” I wouldn’t like it, but I wouldn’t think I really had a leg to stand on when it came to complaining to the authorities. It’s uncouth, but so are lots of bumper stickers.
But since the “f” word was actually spelled out in all four of its glorious letters I have a real problem with it. Why should people’s children have to see that on the roads? Why should my elderly parents have to look at that at a stop sign? Why should I have to look at it at a stop sign, for that matter? I don’t use that kind of language, what gives this person the right to assault me with it? Why should any parent have to explain to his or her child what that word means?
You put that kind of vulgarity out there for everyone to see, you’d better expect consequences.
The use of the "f" word in this situation is a perfect example of free speech.
He has not stood on a street corner, screaming it at a bunch of pre-schoolers, he has not blasted it from his truck windows in a trash rap situation, he has simply displayed a bumper sticker that has offended some folks that are not really offended by the obscene connotation of the word, in and of itself, but the fact that he would display it, period.
Tough.
Because if I chose to display a "F" Hillary bumper sticker, which is my right...I'd fight to the death over it.
The most I've done (and still have displayed) is a sticker of "Calvin" urinating on the word "Obama".
I've gotten numerous outraged protestations from liberal snowflakes over it and even been accused of racism...but I will defend it under all circumstances.
This the United States of America...I shed my blood on the shores of a foreign country in defense (however misguided) of the US Constitution and all Amendments, thereto.
I will defend this cretins right to display a harmless, if tasteless, bumper sticker.
And for me, now, this subject is closed.
At least the prosecutor has the decency to state for the record that she is prepared to attempt deprivation of rights under color of authority! :-)
Same thing I thought. I hope he has glass coverage......actually, I hope he doesn’t.

Three differences without a distinction.
Looks like great candidate for a “TRUMP 2020” adornment....
You still are confusing two issues. It's not about the 1st Amendment, it is about a Texas law that prohibits lewd, obscene language in public. Read post #10 again. Such laws have been on the books in almost every State, county, and city laws since I was a child. Although, SF and other Commie locales ignore them. It's the same as exposing yourself in public - it's lewd.
It’s not the msg per se, it’s the use of the “F” word
