FRiends, sports fans, boycotters, lend me your eyes, our pal Bender is still feeling a little under the weather since his brush with the crack medical staff down there at the hospital, so he's asked to pinch hit once again.

"You got the wrong sport there, buddy."

Why it's none other than former NFL Quarterback Colon Crapernik! I heard you were named man of the year by Gentlemen's Quarterly.

"Actually, it's not Gentlemen's Quarterly anymore."

Oh? What does the "GQ" stand for now? General Queerness? Genital quibbling?

"Actually, it's doesn't stand for anything anymore, isn't that hip and cool? Now, what's this you say about me being a FORMER quarterback?"

Well, didn't you forget how to throw the ball?

"Hey! That's racist! Is it my fault all those honky O-Lineman can't give me the 2 to 3 minutes per play I require to find an open receiver?"

Hmm yes, race. Say, you look like you might be up to 40% Black, tell me, do you like the movie "Scarface"?

"Who doesn't?"

Well, there's a lesson in there you must have missed, don't get high on your own supply. Thanks for stopping by, I'll let you get back to playing with your shoe collection.

So, instead of a London game this week, we have the Pats and Raiders headed down Mexico City way. Coach B, are you excited?

Bring me back a sombrero.

Meanwhile, on the homefront, my offensivly challenged Bearlies are hosting the Lions. I'm not feeling too good about this one, what about you obviously not at all photoshopped attractive blonde Bears fan?

"We're gonna lose. But at least you have me, thanks to this chain around my ankle!"

"Excuse me."

GQ Woman of the year Gal Gadot! What are you doing here?

"I'm looking for Colon, have you seen him? I need to ask him where he gets his hair done, so I can be sure I never go there."

You just missed him, good luck with the search, don't bother checking football fields.

I’m curious why u post these threads each week promoting the NFL.
Is this a thread for gamblers so they know who is playing who for
betting purposes?

Seems to me that J.J. Watt would be far more deserving of that honor.

I don't give a crap about the NFL, but your initial posts have been as witty as any of Bender's.

Once upon a time, I posted a picture of me with a couple of Broncos Cheerleaders, and Bender immediately photoshopped his alter ego in my place. Funny.

Dak and the Cowboys won’t be doing a repeat of the 13-wins last season.

I doubt Dak will ever see another 13-win season.

Somebody’s streak is coming to an end ... it won’t be the Steelers.
Cards can’t seem to get it going ... Texans are wounded. But someone has to win, right? Cards.
Let’s see if they can make it 2 in a row without Rodgers. Packers.
Lions.
Browns. . . . . . . . . just kidding - Jags win easily.
Chiefs.
What is this ... the 70s? Vikes and Rams in powerhouse positions? It’s like Tarkenton and Haden are back. Crazy! Rams win.
Phins.
Ain’ts.
Bolts suck at home ... BiLLLLs suck on the road. BiLLLLs.
Broncos are falling apart. Bengals.
Patsies are on a roll ... they’ll win again.
Dallas has a way of playing hard after an ugly loss. COWBOYS!!!!!
Seahags.

Tennessee at Pittsburgh[X] - I haven’t gotten a Thursday game right yet, hope this week is better.

Arizona[X] at Houston - Someone has to win

Baltimore at Green Bay[X] - Again, someone has to win

Detroit[X] at Chicago - Bears (and Impy) are distracted by the photoshop blonde

Jacksonville[X] at Cleveland - Jags continue their domination of the AFC North

Kansas City[X] at N.Y. Giants - Manning long face again

L.A.[X] Rams at Minnesota - Two teams doing well. LA seems to have more firepower. May be the game of the week.

Tampa Bay[X] at Miami - Again, someone has to win. Miami looks like it is going through the motions. Perhaps if the ‘Canes were playing, Miami might have a chance...

Washington at New Orleans[X] - NO is on a roll.

Buffalo[X] at L.A. Chargers - What’s the over/under on attendance?

Cincinnati at Denver[X] - Again, someone has to win.

New England[X] at Oakland - Unfortunately, NE looks like they are rolling again.

Philadelphia[X] at Dallas - May be close because it is in Dallas, but the Iggles best the ‘Boys.

Atlanta[X] at Seattle - ATL needs this game to get into the playoff hunt.

However unlikely, I think the Raiders can beat N.E in a home game, so I'll be the goat this week.

The Arizona/Houston game has backup ducks for QB. I'll take the home duck.

Denver doesn't seem to have a really solidified QB situation either, despite having good players, like Houston. That being said, I'll take the healthy Bengals QB.

Green Bay without Rogers seems to be competitive again, and I'll take the home team here. Now I'm not dissing the Ravens defense y'all, no sir, not me.

And did I mention that I REALLY admire that nice young lady't belly button ornament?

Pittsburgh
Houston
Green Bay
Detroit
Jacksonville
Kansas City
Minnesota
Miami
New Orleans
Chargers
Bengals
Raiders
Philadelphia
Seattle

Week 11... After my terrible performance last week I must say it's a good thing we aren't putting money on these picks. I'd be broke! Once more into the breech!

Thursday, Nov 16, 2017 (All times Eastern)

Tennessee at Pittsburgh 8:25 pm NFLN Heinz Field Steelers are rounding into form although they almost managed to give away the game against the Colts. Titans are on a mini-roll, although they almost managed to give away the game against the Bengals too. Still, Pittsburgh at home ... Big Ben and Antonio Brown. Maybe Mariota puts on a show? Maybe not. Steelers.

Sunday, Nov 19, 2017

Arizona at Houston 1:00 pm FOX NRG Stadium Damn shame about Watson. Especially for the Texans because they are simply not the same team without him. As bad as the Cardinals are I think they can muster enough to win this one. Cardinals.

Baltimore at Green Bay 1:00 pm CBS Lambeau Field Brett Hundley is never going to be Aaron Rodgers. But I don't think he has to be to win this game. The Ravens ... i can't figure out what to expect from them. Lose to the Bears, throttle the Dolphins, lose to the Vikings. I just don't think they have anything on O though. Packers.

Detroit at Chicago 1:00 pm FOX Soldier Field Matthew Stafford. Mitchell Trubisky. Seems easy right? Lions.

Jacksonville at Cleveland 1:00 pm CBS FirstEnergy Stadium Jacksonville may be inconsistent but they do have a suffocating defense. Whereas the Browns have ... what? Jaguars.

Kansas City at N.Y. Giants 1:00 pm CBS MetLife Stadium The woebegone Giants.... lost to San Francisos! One lousy win this season. Kansas City OTOH... Okay they are not the team everyone thought when they were 5 - 0, but they're still good enough to beat the G-Men. Chiefs.

L.A. Rams at Minnesota 1:00 pm FOX U.S. Bank Stadium A good game, an interesting match-up. Rams have been piling up points and have a pretty good defense too. Case Keenum had the game of his career last week against the 'Skins. I doubt a repeat is in the cards. Rams.

Tampa Bay at Miami 1:00 pm FOX Hard Rock Stadium Just when you think they are dead, the Bucs, led by Ryan Fitzpatrick, rise up and beat the Jets. As for the Dolphins..... Neither one of these teams is going anywhere... But I can't take a team that got shutout 40 - 0 jut a couple of weeks ago. Bucs.

Washington at New Orleans 1:00 pm FOX Mercedes-Benz Superdome The Skins are at best an 8 - 8 team.... And the Saints ... well, I look for them to meet the Eagles in the NFC championship game. They are on a 7 - 0 run and if I had their running backs on my fantasy team they would have gotten me 74 points last week. And at home... in the Dome. Unbeatable. Saints.

Buffalo at L.A. Chargers 4:05 pm FOX StubHub Center Many thought the Bills were a contender. That was before getting their clocks cleaned, at home, last week by the Saints. The Chargers OTOH have found more ways to lose than I can remember... But I like them at home.... Chargers.

Cincinnati at Denver 4:25 pm CBS Sports Authority Field at Mile HighCan Denver sink any lower?! I guess we'll see. But the Bengals? They are snake-bitten too. But Andy Dalton at QB is better than any option the Broncos have... Bengals.

New England at Oakland 4:25 pm CBS Estadio Azteca I look at this match-up and think the Patriots see .... LUNCH! Patriots.

Philadelphia at Dallas 8:30 pm NBC AT&T Stadium Can the Cowboys recover from that debacle in Atlanta last week? Not against an Eagles team that is flying high, firing on all cylinders, etc etc. No joy for Jerry's 'Boys. Eagles.

Monday, Nov 20, 2017

Atlanta at Seattle 8:30 pm ESPN CenturyLink Field Did the Falcons turn a corner with that performance against Dallas last week? Up until recently a trip to Seattle was usually a sure-fire loss recipe. But that ain't necessarily so any more. And although I said I'd never take the Falcons again that was three weeks ago. Or maybe two... Well, never say never! Falcons.

No college picks this weekend ... except for

Georgia Tech over Duke. All the big games are next week.

Good luck to everyone!!!!!
