like the other words were written by someone else

Possibly, the M in Merry and his sig radically different. Date with dashes but now slashes. Then printed business name. I'm sure it will come out if any copy/paste/photoshop shenanigans surface.

Re: The Yearbook

The main problem I see is that Moore, at his press conference, said he does not even know where this restaurant is.

However, he wrote the name of the restaurant and the date in her yearbook.

That is a serious problem, unless Moore misunderstood the question or the reference she made to a restaurant. He can just say he forgot the name after 40 years, but that will sound hugely lame, and convince a lot of people that he is guilty.

Guilty of what?

Making an ass of himself over a girl 40 years ago?

Man, if that's the standard, Jesus better hurry back because we've got nobody to vote for.

...It does not apply in this setting...

Actually, the Constitution does not set any limits to expulsion other than “misbehavior.” And it does not define misbehavior. It is what the House and/or Senate says it is.
Can you provide some kind of documentation why it does not apply?

I agree the message and the signature look like they were written by two different people. At least to me they do. The “M” in Merry and the one in his signature are quite different.

But there are a couple of noticeable differences in the two signatures too. The loop of the “R” is different and the “Y” is vastly different.

He might have changed his signature over the years but that “Y” is a huge change.

I called “hooey” on this woman’s story right off the bat for several reasons. You just added another.

The sloppy cursive does not match the signature. The letter ‘r’ in his signature (somewhat defined) does not match the passage r’s. The number 2 does not match either. Why would someone write the date twice (Christmas 1977 and 12/22/77)? As well as adding the restaurant? Most importantly, tigers do not change stripes, those accused of retched behavior (especially powerful people) continue that behavior until stopped.

Moore is innocent and this is another killshot by the Uniparty.

Voters should know by now that short of replacing every politician, this will continue until Trump (and his base) are defeated. No helpful legislation will ever be passed.

No politician is truly with Trump or the voters. If they were, they would be on the news airing dirty laundry on their cohorts such as corruption, special interests, money laundering, etc. They bitch about Hillary to appease voters, but they have no interest in exposing the elites. Jordan, Gowdy, King, and all the rest are great at grandstanding but what have they done to drain the swamp or expose corruption? Don’t be fooled by the anti-Hillary talk. There are many others just as corrupt that are never mentioned by the grandstanders.

Article I, §5, clause 2: “Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a member.”
I have not researched this, but as a lawyer my immediate reaction is that the disorderly behavior must occur while a senator in order for expulsion to be an option.

There may be something to that. For example.. “punish it’s members...” He’s not a member, nor is he allowed on the floor (if he wins) until he’s sworn in. And they could refuse to swear him in .

If he’s out of the Senate one way or another by Senate decision, the Senate could order a special election as they have done before? Or, could the Governor appoint a replacement for the vacancy as they normally do for vacancies? I don’t think Democrats would like that option.
And is there a Senate definition for disorderly behavior?

This whole situation is why we have lawyers.

As a lawyer, the RINOs, GOPe, and Rats will rule that for Democrats, the "disorderly behavior" for expulsion has to occur when he or she is member of the Senate. For Moore and other conservative, it means that expulsion applies if he or she shoplifted a fireball at six years old.

FYI -- Under current Senate rules expulsion requires an adjudicatory hearing where Moore should have an opportunity to present and cross-examine witnesses.

He really put DA with his name? Yeh Right...That's just nuts.

The date 12-22-77 is not by him. I do not believe it his signature. I'd need a sampling of his printing.

I don't think any of this is by him.

I do a lot of this handwriting examination.

It appears that there are AT LEAST two different hands here.

Look at the "y" in Roy.

I have to sign a lot of documents and my signature has become more flamboyant for these papers...but I'm female. Men don't care.

Notice the smudging on the page.

This is going to blow up for this little liar. Gloria is not doing her any favors.

His middle initial is S as in Stewart. That’s a flamboyant “y”.

Some characteristics don't change.

In my research this year, I found a 1768 signature in a will that matches with a 1817 signature in a deed. It's the little loops and tick marks that are still there.

I’d bet the kitchen sink that he did NOT print the name of the restaurant and did NOT write 12-22-77.

Yeah that’s what I thought as well, putting DA by his name as if any teenager would know what the F that would even mean. It’s fake, it’s fake as a 3 dollar bill.
