Jeff Flake To Trevor Noah: Donald Trump Veering Toward “Tin-Horn Dictator”
Deadline Hollywood ^ | August 7, 2017 | Lisa de Moraes

The party’s drift in that direction began years ago, the Arizona senator said, explaining, “We could not be the party of fiscal conservatism when we were ballooning our debt. So we started to wage in the cultural wars, started arguing about flag burning. And we’ve gotten further and further down that road. Donald Trump latched on to that and put it into hyper-drive. Unfortunately, voters have gone along with him.”

The Senator apparently forgets "Read My Lips..." from GHWB and the massive bailouts under GWB and the massive $trillions in spending under Obama.

The Republican Party has not been the party of fiscal conservatism for a long time.

Poor Jeff Flake, it’s so sad. he is like the outcome of a cruel experiment combining parts of Jeb Bush and Maxine Waters.

Arizona has gullible voters that match any in Kalifornia or the Northeast. What kind of sick mind votes for the likes of Flake and McCain?

Maybe all the uranium talk has him a little worried...the adulation coming from dems is interesting, considering in the past they said...

"....in the 1990s he worked as a lobbyist for Rossing Uranium, a mining company with ties to Iran"

and...

"Jeff Flake is the definition of a Washington, D.C. insider. He spent years as a Washington lobbyist and a registered foreign agent, doing the bidding of special interest foreign clients before becoming a career politician who voted to benefit his former clients. Worst of all, Flake tried to hide his lobbying, his lobbying past and possible conflicts of interest from Arizonans,” said Matt Canter, spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

...more worms turning...

(or is it, turning worms?)

Mister Trump IS as good as it gets!
In fact, Trump is much better than ANY we’ve ever had (had us, actually).

Nuff said.

If that’s what it takes to get this nation back on track, I’d welcome it!

Flake and his cronies have screwed us!

Where were all these indignant Republicans when Obama was “fundamentally changing” our country? Now, all of a sudden, they have a spine.

Flake has destroyed his public approval so low he could not even win the Republican primary in his original Mormon dominated East Valley House of Representatives district

Trump a dictator?

He talks smack but is short on specifics

Trump is the anti dictator who spent his second term ruling via executive order decree - something Flake did little to oppose

Trump has reversed much of Obama’s dictatorial decrees and referred the issue to congress for constitutional legislative branch resolution

Trump has complied with ObamaCare court decisions filed by the House against the executive branch and once again referred the issue back to Congress , the appropriate branch of government

Much of Trumps first year has been as the anti dictator was

Dems voting in AZ’s open primary to put the most prog-like Republican on the ballot as a Democrat likely can’t win. Plus, a significant Mormon faction voting for fellow LDS Flake.

I think this is just another example of GOP Inc acting out after they realize the jig is up. We’ve had three decades of their “leadership” and nothing to show for it. No significant conservative goals accomplished. Voters finally called them on their promises and they’re out in the cold.

And they’re angry. Very angry. They genuinely think they’re our rulers and not our leaders.

GOP Inc is still seething that we didn’t follow their lead, nominated Jeb Bush, and just watched President Hillary do whatever she wanted for eight years.

They have no plan. Their standard strategy is to wait for liberal leaders to flame out and then swoop in and win. This was their strategy for Bill Clinton (didn’t work), Barack Obama (didn’t work), and was their playbook for Hillary Clinton (it wouldn’t have worked).

This hasn’t worked since 1980, and even then it worked despite them, not because of them. they would have nominated George HW Bush, and lost.

They’re still furious at their voters for not following their lead. Voters are furious at them, but they seem to have no idea.
