rofl, anyone who has ever heard Caroline Kennedy try to speak in public knows she is an embarrassment. Without her family name she would never ever be discussed in relation to public office. She tried to become a US Senator from NY, and even that heavily liberal state wouldn’t nominate her, never mind elect her.

He’d have run for President. Not if Hillary had anything to say about it

Bull-loney.

He was 39 years old when he died. He was never active in politics. He lived a playboy lifestyle.

However......

Shrub was 40 when he first got into office. And how old was Bammie when he started to play politics as a junior senator?

So - I guess John John could have made a go at it.

The whole Kennedy thing from JKF on was style over substance. They were all style, no substance.

Nevertheless, Teddy Kennedy earned himself the distinction as being one of the most destructive figures to American culture and well being in history. The Kennedy’s lacked a moral compass which made the their substance-less style very destructive.

JFK, Jr. would have been a disaster to America. I believe God possibly removed him for that reason.

That’s all American politics did not and still does not need - another political dynasty.

Was it rumored that he was going to run for NY Senate at the time of his crash? HRC anyone?

I think politics would have interfered with his philandering. What a minute, scratch that.

Question? Did he ever pass the NY bar exam? If not, is that why he started a magazine rather that becoming a high-priced lawyer in NY?

Despite what the “rags” say, because JFK, Jr. grew up under the influence of his mother, he avoided most of the issues that was the downfall of other Kennedy clan members. Had he lived, he would have won two terms in the Senate from New York State in 2000 and 2006 (he’d probably be living in the same neighborhood that Clintons now live in now at Chappaqua, NY!) and would have run for President in 2012—and win.

He killed himself, his wife, and her sister by flying in conditions for which he was unqualified. Poor judgment does not make up for glamor.

The Bessette parents must have been destroyed by his rashness.

And Caroline - overbred, underfed, and for all her grievous losses, still living in cotton wool.

JFK Jr. Would Have Run for President, Says Jackie's Personal Assistant

Not a snowball's chance...

The most valuable gift that the corrupt Kennedy clan have left the American people is an abiding and permanent revulsion for political Dynasties. And if the Kennedys didn't make it clear, the utterly corrupt Criminal Clintons just reinforced the obvious.

The late incompetent dullwitted embassador to GB should have made it as clear as necessary.

No political dynasties should be a seriously considered Constitutional Amendment.

Crony Capitalism on steroids...

He was royalty. Of course he would have run, if Hillary hadn’t taken him out him for wanting the Senate seat she had to have.

What is it with so many wanting to create some sort of royalty/dynasty aspect to being President of the United States of America?

Between the Kennedys, Bushes, Clintons- it is insanity. Enough already! We don’t need to even consider someone based on their name. The media hypes Chelsea, and numerous Kennedys, this Bush and that Bush...there seems to be no end to it.
