TOKYO — As the president might say, the room was half full.

Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter and adviser, was the much-heralded guest at a government-sponsored conference on women’s empowerment in Tokyo on Friday, just two days before President Trump’s scheduled arrival here on his first stop of an Asia tour.

Regarding the NY SLIMES fake news reporting, does anyone remember it covering the extremely tiny audiences at Tim Kaine and Shrillary Clinton “rallies”?

As a matter of bipartisanship, Trump could have brought Liz Warren along on the trip. She could have claimed to have been a geisha in her youth.

Ivanka is not on a trip with her father. She went to Japan early and is now on her way home as he heads to Japan.

I suspect her public activities are just part of President Trump’s plans. She is the good cop emissary to the libs. Furthermore, she gets the libs to pin their hopes on her to influence her father. So far that hope has been repeatedly dangled and then dashed. She is a useful distraction for the libs - fashion sense and all.
