If you're just waking up, you're too late: iPhone X preorders sold out within minutes overnight.

Apple Add Interest

Today marked the kick-off for iPhone X preorders, Apple’s much anticipated 10th-anniversary edition of its iPhone.

Preorders opened at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time and 3:01 a.m. ET for those Apple devotees who wanted to be some of the first to get their hands on the phone that Apple's CEO Tim Cook called the “biggest leap forward since the original iPhone” at its Sept. 12 launch event.

While the iPhone X was gone online in minutes, the phone will be available in stores next Friday, Nov. 3.

Here’s what you need to know about the iPhone X:

Apple has confirmed that stores will have the new phone in stock on Nov. 3 and the company is encouraging customers to arrive early.

"Stores will have iPhone X available for walk-in customers," Apple wrote. Stores open at 8 a.m. Quantities of the phone available are unconfirmed.

Apple is a leftist company. They need to pay taxes on their $50 billion in cash.

You don’t even have a clue about what you are talking about, TigerClaws.

First of all, it’s $260 BILLION not $50 billion. It hasn’t been $5) billion since before Steve Jobs died.

Secondly, you are falling for the the Democrat’s talking points. Apple has already PAID US INCOME TAXES on all that money. It’s required by US and INTERNATIONAL TAX LAW. Corporate taxes of multinationals are paid in the country where they are incorporated. Apple is incorporated in California, USA. . . They pay their Income Taxes to California and the United States. In May of 2015, Apple was hauled before a US Senate investigating committee, accused of not paying income taxes by several Democratic Senators. CEO Tim Cook, under oath, testified that not only had Apple PAID its income tax, but that Apple was the LARGEST payer of US BUSINESS INCOME TAXES, paying $1 out of every $40 of business taxes collected by the IRS. . . And brought in the proof, Apple’s Business tax returns, which are public records.

The money Apple and hundreds of other corporations have cached off-shore is after tax dollars that the US’s archaic tax structure requires to be RE-TAXED if it is brought back to the US at an absurd 35% tax rate imposed by Democrat Liberals. Only one other country on earth, a land locked African Dictatorship, has such an idiotic tax policy for re-patriating already taxed earnings. Other countries allow their companies to bring back their earnings to be invested at home with out taxing them again.

Displaying ignorance is not a way to begin a discussion about which you really know nothing factual. Way to go, TigerClaws.

Wonder if Apple shareholders know they pay Rush as a spokesman?

If that's true, which I doubt, does it really matter? Why the angst?

I had a similar problem with my order. First, the site did not actually go live until about 12:05 AM PDT. Second, it took me until 12:40 AM to get the order entered. Third, Apple was having a problem verifying my AT&T account. So the order didn’t get verified until after 8:00 AM CDT.

If rush mentions a problem with his computer or phones, someone form Apple, calls him the same day. Regardless of politics he has a huge audience and that means $$$$$$ in cupertino.

There is no satisfying an Apple hater.

Much like a Trump hater, their delusions are deep-seated and based on falsehoods.

If Apple didn’t sell out a new phone, the hater would declare it a failure.

If Apple does sell out their new phone, they must have cheated or be lying in some way.

The parallels to the way liberals see Trump are obvious, but part of the delusion is denial in the face of truth, so expect the Apple haters to attack me personally (another trait shared with liberals, when losing, attack your opponent personally).

They need to pay taxes on their $50 billion in cash.

They already paid taxes on earnings. You want double taxation, on income already taxed and paid overseas. All corporations are in the same boat. Go after Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, etc. They also park income earned overseas to avoid double taxation. As for politics, Apple is not leftist and does not contribute to leftist causes although some employees might; Microsoft directly contributes to leftist causes. Go after Microsoft, why don't you.

As a post script, If Rush were truly a spokesperson as you claim, why would he devote all the time today explaining "Decoy Advertising" and how it applies to Apple?

You did listen to him today didn't you?

Well, I finally got an iPhone SE 32GB at AT&T Prepaid. It seems like a very capable little device.

FWIW - Just got back from China. Seems like every young Chinese has an iPhone.

Saw iPhone X ads plastered everywhere.

Also walked by the huge Apple stores in Shanghai and Beijing. They were packed with people.

The Samsung and the Chinese brand stores (huawei, oppo, vivo, etc) looked pretty empty. (saw a lot of ads for them as well).

Is there any greater example of capitalism? Overpriced goods manufactured by Chinese workers jumping out of buildings to kill themselves because of the poor working conditions.

I really knew you were going to bring that lie up. The very small number of workers—a total of just 18 out of 750,000 workers in a period of 18 months—who committed suicide at Foxconn in 2010/2011 (a suicide rate of fewer than one in 100,000 per year compared to eleven per 100,000 among similar age young people in Ivy League US universities and far less than the 17 per 100,000 in the Chinese population in general).

The suicides involved not a single Apple assembly line worker as the 18 workers who killed themselves were variously working on assembly lines making Microsoft Xboxes, Nokia cellular phones, Sony Playstations, and Hewlett-Packard computers, but NOT one single Apple product, which were being assembled 150 miles away from the factory where the majority of the 18 suicides occurred among Foxconn’s 750,000 employees.

These are facts. . . But that won’t stop you from posting your lie again, will it, TigerClaws?

Go figure why you’d try to lay a non-event at the door of a company that had nothing at all to do with it, which in fact has done more than any other to improve working conditions, worker pay, and benefits. But you prefer to believe the propaganda spread by left-wing organizations such as NYC based China Labor Watch, which has been caught multiple times faking evidence to blame Apple, including using video from other companies but attributing it to Foxconn and mistranslations Foxconn worker interviews into English mischaracterizing what the workers were saying into condemnations that other Chinese speakers say do not at all reflect the actual worker’s comments.

WHOW! Three for three.

Rush has stated categorically, multiple times, that he is NOT paid to endorse Apple. He says he wishes they would. He even gives away iPhones out of his own pocket to promote his show. So you have lied again, pulling accusations out of your nether regions.

Unless he is lying Rush gets nothing from Apple not even a discount on the stuff he gives away.

Of course you can't believe a word an Apple user says because they are just morons.
