More bad news could be on the horizon for ESPN. Staffers at the Worldwide Leader in Sports are bracing for another possible round of layoffs late this year, multiple sources tell Sporting News.

The next round of cutbacks could come down in late November or early December, with 40-60 positions potentially being impacted, according to sources. The layoffs could hit both on-air TV/radio talent and behind-the-scenes production staffers.

I guess ESPN’s new Manhattan liberal elite target audience just isn’t into watching sports 24/7.

ESPN is planning another round of layoffs just six months after the network fired more than 100 employees, Sporting News reports.

Multiple sources told the sports news site that 40 to 60 people including on-air talent and radio personalities may be sent packing.

The layoffs could come as soon as late November or early December.

ESPN declined Fox News’ request for comment.

Yep - only the ones with a moral compass, sense of reality and an ounce of patriotism will be on the chopping block.

They should double-down on the politics and just not bother with sports anymore.

ESPN had a good thing going. Then they went full leftard and hawked loogies in the faces of of their target audience.

Now ESPN is dying.

Shouldn’t their socialist liberal coworkers offer to work half time or just share their paychecks? You know, to eliminate income inequality and stuff?

No Kidding. When you think of the “Sports Fan” The image of the Blue Collar “Steelers” fan comes to mind or those Chicago Bears fans saying “Ditka”in that SNL skit.

I pray not. People like her, and Frederica Wilson, are invaluable to our side. We need them out there, front and center.

Sweet!

It is odd that ESPN is so blind as not to realize why people have enjoyed watching sports through the ages: pure entertainment.

Real life is challenging enough. Sports offered a way of escaping it for a couple hours. Why would someone want to spend their recreational time and coin being bombarded with guilt, angst, and insults?

But this can’t be. I thought hipster slackers, liberal snobs, and militant blacks would make up the new audience?

"...ESPN heading for more painful layoffs."

Not painful for me. I rarely watch them and their talking heads usually are a pain to watch and listen to. If ESPN went away, the cost of sports might just start to fall as the networks won't need to constantly bid up the cost to present and hire expensive chatter boxes.

Hey!!! ESPN!!! I would suggest that you talk to former Blockbuster CEO John Antioco...he might have some really good advice about “stooooopid business decions,” or not...up to you.
