Of course it is. It's also fine for a black kid or a brown kid or any other kid to dress up as Moana for Halloween. It's also fine for all of us to use the Hindu-Arabic numbering system even though the Arabs "culturally appropriated" it from the Hindus and we're "culturally appropriating" it from them. It's also fine for all of us to study geometry and algebra even though though they were developed and named by the Greeks and Arabs, and it's also fine for all of us to use the Internet, automobiles, smart phones and all of the other artifacts of European and American civilization.

What left-wing loons call "cultural appropriation" is what the rest of us call socialization and learning. It's pretty much what has driven human civilization throughout its history.

This is where I officially lose it. My daughter almost was going to be Moana for Halloween. Do these SJWs realize what they are saying, and how (not hyperbole but literally) Nazi-like they sound? Follow me:

Moana is Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander. So I am assuming that she is a hero character to people who have Pacific Island genes, if you will, so those little girls can dress as her in homage.

My daughter has every race in her EXCEPT Pacific Islander or Asian. Though she does have Native North American genes. Does that pass? What about the folks who crossed the Bering Straits? Because if that is enough genetic material to dress as Moana for Halloween, then all Mexican ancestry little girls can do it, but the little blonde girl is out of luck.

Please explain how this is any different than what happened to my dad when he was a little boy in Nazi Germany, having Jewish genetics so he was not allowed to go to school or parks for Aryan kids.

The focus on race will cost us all our freedoms. And eventually get us killed.

Good luck! Actually, everyone is always in a good mood at the Hospital on Halloween. many of the personnel dress up. They,re on a sugar rush from all the goodies. So, all in all, it’s a good day to have surgery!

My granddaughter actually does have Pacific Islander genes, along with Ashkenazi Jew,Irish, German, Czech, and Caribbean mulatto! I guess she can be anything she wants! She’s going with Crazy Cat Lady! My daughter is making her costume...a stuffed 1940’s house dress, hair in big pink rollers, raggedy jacket with little cat beanies sewn on. I suppose she might offend the real crazy cat ladies, but they never answer the door anyway.😟😇😜😹
