I’ve read down through the posts and would like to suggest that when you start a Christian discernment or Pentacostal thread you just put it first as a title of your first post.

When we sleep our brain goes through the entire days events forward and then BACKWARDS. It trashes inconsequential info but loving a melody or song and listening over and over gives it importance.

Footholds, footholds, footholds. For decades I have been lead to listen only to instrumentals. Maybe that was a mental choice! I do still listen to country, classical, and classic hymns though. None of the rock I grew up with, never hip hop, never new stuff. Getting older.

Question. Is listening to this music comparable to eating meat sacrificed to idols? We do have the ability to decipher and syphon. Practice makes perfect, eh?
