It’s no Assange - it is those who keep claiming the “next big thing” is coming out, and then it goes pfft; whether it is about Assange or someone else.
In the real world, there are reasons.
For example, I have a new Reagan biography-—heavily based on the Reagan papers-—coming out in mid-2018, but I still can’t reveal the publisher. It should be a big deal. They want to make a splash and have all the PR aligned first.
In government terms, for example, Reagan’s SDI speech had to be worked over by every department in government, even though he knew what he planned to say.
Not saying this is the case here, but I do understand how people have certain timetables with various milestones that have to be met before stuff can be revealed.
