Rush was discussing the many Hollywood starlets who seemed to come out of nowhere, whose careers skyrocketed because of their "association" with sickening perv Harvey Weinstein. All of them were probably seriously sexually harassed but kept quiet because of their personal lust for fame and fortune. So in that sense, they enabled Weinstein's disgusting predatory behavior.

Marisa Tomei had one bit part in a 1986 Miramax movie, then didn't act in a film again until 1991 (not Miramax) and, as far as I can tell never had a role in another Weinstein film. And, her career's trajectory upward had nothing to do with Weinstein as it was several years later before she hit it big.
Kate Winslet was making movie s before Miramax.
