Steve Bannon, Unleashed
The American Prospect ^ | 6 Oct, 2016 | ROBERT KUTTNER

Posted on 10/08/2017 9:23:23 PM PDT by MtnClimber

Is Steve Bannon more dangerous outside the White House than in? And dangerous to whom?

As long as he was in the White House, no matter how much Bannon’s freelancing annoyed President Trump and senior staffers, he was part of the Trump machinery and subject to a modicum of discipline. Now, Bannon is out.

He’s organizing an electoral machine to Trump’s right, and certainly to the right of the Republican Senate leadership—and he hopes to bring that leadership down. For Bannon, the victory in the Alabama Senate primary of former Judge Roy Moore over Mitch McConnell’s favorite, incumbent Luther Strange, was just the beginning.

Speaking after Moore defeated Strange, Bannon declared, “This is a populist nationalist conservative revolt. It’s a revolt against the elites in this country. It’s a revolt against the globalists among those elites.”

Having written up an interview with Bannon in mid-August that helped push him out of the White House, I began thinking that maybe Bannon was happier out than in. A journalist friend confirmed that hunch. So I asked Bannon for a second interview. He was pleased to oblige.

I made a date to come to the Breitbart townhouse, where we spoke for an hour on Thursday afternoon. This time, Bannon was careful to put the conversation on background, but he gave me permission to convey the essence of his views.

Bannon's first conversation with me was animated by his belief that he and I might be allies on the issue of economic nationalism. He continues to look for left-right common ground.

The establishment fears free people. I think that says more about the danger that is the establishment than it does Bannon.

Didn’t Bannon say he would be in for one year?

Yes, Bannon said one year, turned in his resignation on time to end his tenure inside the gates of the WH at one year. Claims he was not “fired”. That was all confirmed in his live Charlie Rose interview.

Bannon is the “real deal,” folks.

He is punishing the GOPE-Dem Swamp in a big way.

He is directly helping us and Trump repair this country.

Support him and his choices however you can.

He did say he would be in for one year. Trump has spme people like McMaster who I think are giving him terrible advice. And McMaster is cleaning house of Trump loyalists. Not a good thing.

This article speaks to the Democrats increasingly becoming globalist pushing, identity-politics shoving Leftists to such an extreme that Republicans, even extremist Republicans can win in certain states. The writer names Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, for examples.

There is certainly some truth in that. The Democrats are unrecognizable, taken over by communists pushing socialism out loud and in public.

Theoretically it should be easy to win more and more blue states.

BUT, how to get rid of Paul Ryan! THAT seems still elusive. He has GOT to GO.

He’s a better ally to us Trump supporters on the outside than in.

He drained the swamp in Tennessee in a matter of weeks — Corker and Haslam are out, Marsha Blackburn is in!

Something the voters could only dream of, given the campaign chests and establishment connections of the incumbents.

“This is a populist nationalist conservative revolt. It’s a revolt against the elites in this country. It’s a revolt against the globalists among those elites.” >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Mr. Bannon is every bit as significant as were any one of the founding fathers.

No longer will we give away our country in exchange for paltry tax havens meant solely for the RINOs of America. Its RINOs time to relax and let the people have their country back.

God speed, Mr. Bannon. A whole country of patriots has your back.

"The result of a Bannon-led civil war in the Republican Party could well be a GOP even more extremist—and more of a national minority party."

This article is hilarious and typical of a leftist writer. He continues to label Bannon and Judge Moore as racist, yet offers no examples to back it up. We should accept it as fact just because he says so. But the above quote is my favorite of the article. The Republicans run the house, senate, presidency, the majority of the governorships and state legislatures and yet they are the national minority party. Exactly what is his definition of national minority party?

I think Bannon was/is one of PDJT’s greatest assets, and one of the main reasons for Trump’s success. I think that it will be a great strategy for Trump to keep Bannon in his sphere of influence.
