There is actually a form of M2F surgery that is fully reversible.
It can work for most but not for all.
The testes are relocated internally...this is simple.
The penis is placed internally leaving just the sensitive part at the surface to serve as clitoris.
The urethra is relocated lower on the perineum.
The scrotal tissue is used to create labia.
A vagina is formed using a short piece of small intestine and is self lubricating.
The entire affair can be reversed.
Hormonal treatment will stop the testis from producing testosterone.
A somewhat more involved procedure but the reversibility would be worth the trouble in some cases. The most difficult part is relocation of the penis below the surface.

I did see the south park episode but I was not thinking of it at the time I explained the surgery . I have read up on it because my sister is transgendered and wants to have the one for girls wanting to be men... and yes I think it is body dysphoria and is a mental illness.
Seems risky, undescended testicles have a significant risk of developing cancer. Surgically causing undescended testicles may be leaving the surgeon open to litigation.
Everything connected to SRS seems risky to me.
IMO it would be better to simply perform bilateral orchiectomy after saving some sperm for possible use later.
Then if the surgery were reversed you would simply need testosterone replacement and prosthetic testis.
Not perfect but I suppose a lot better than not being able to do an acceptable reversal.

That’s just incredibly bizarre ... I’m not sure who is more perverse: the one who wants that done to him, or the one who would do it.
Most of this is just abuse of the mentally ill and abuse of children.
Gee, maybe we need a check box on our 1040 forms, yes or no to donate $1 of our returns to a fund for mentally ill a-holes to detransition. Thanks Innovative.
In Belgium doctors would recommend euthanasia in this case.
