Reminds me of a story in Life magazine from around 1950 about living Civil War vets.
One old guy had a full hair of black hair. They asked what him his secret was.
“Don’t never wash it!”
More like reek than radiant.
Women used to bath once a year and men twice a year. You did not smell too much body odor unless you were the one that bated too much.
Eternal youth?
That eyebrow-less hag has been revolting for decades.
If I work in the field, on tractor or clean seed, I WILL take a bath every night. Period.
I remember reading that Queen Elizabeth I shocked, SHOCKED her subjects when they found she was a health fanatic and took cleanliness to the extreme by taking TWO BATHS a year!
Most people, in their lifetime, took one bath on their wedding day and that was it.
I remember a dermatologist who thought homeless bums had good skin because they rarely bathed.
I take a bath every Spring whether I need it or not.
Stay upwind of those two - a friend of my folks had a German wife and she had nuclear B.O. - it could knock a maggot off a gut wagon. They were kind of oddball Bohemian types and Mom would only have them over in the summer so we could eat outside to lessen the effects.
1. Seniors dont have to bathe every day
Bathing every day or every other day is fantastic, but not necessary. Even though most Americans are used to showering every single day, thats not a requirement for good health. At a minimum, bathing once or twice a week helps seniors avoid skin breakdown and infections.

Eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww.
Reminds me of B. O. Plenty (showing my age)
I always bathe once a month, whether I need it or not.
Hillary must take this advice.
The reason Old Crusty smells like warmed over tuna casserole
Bondo face?
I'll wash, thanks. I split a cord of firewood between yesterday and today and it's a reward. And clean clothes. And cold beer.
I once worked where myself & another man were in the same office room—about 12 x 12. He apparently didn’t bathe very often, and even his clothes reeked.
I finally went to the boss & said- IF you don’t give me a different place to do my work, I quit. I got my own room-—with a big window, no less. I can still smell that odor today & this was 40 years ago.
“She only takes a bath every week. That’s why she looks so radiant,”
That greasy shine isn’t radiance, it’s an oily coating conducive to growing all manner of bacteria and mold.
