UPDATE - PUERTO RICO: No ATMs, no Cash, no Credit Cards working, No Power (75% of the Island), No Running Water (60% of the Island), No Gasoline, No Diesel. The US presence and aid is here, and there's a lot of personnel and US agencies involved, but unable to move from the ports & piers. Three (3) gasoline trucks were stolen yesterday.

When President Trump arrives in Puerto Rico on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd, he needs to bring with him around 10,000 soldiers with him. This image would be seared in people's minds and it would be akin to Teddy Roosevelt's arrival in Cuba on a horse backed up by thousands of fighters. GO TRUMP!

My Mom is working for the Red Cross and gets fed 3 meals a day. I'm grateful for this -- she's 75 years old.

God bless your mom. Sounds like the PR National Guard and other NG units need to arm up and patrol & safeguard. Then have such as Bechtel and the Navy Seabees get in there to run reconstruction.

Wow it is tough in Puerto Rico. This is a good lesson why people should prepare for disasters. My wife and I have shelter in place (w/o shelter) plans that will help us survive for over 3 months if we do not have any major injuries that we cannot control. Most injuries we would be able control unless they required internal surgery.

Prepping for times like this takes TIME. It does not happen overnight and the People in PR need to do this type of prepping. From fuel to food to water, you must have a well laid plan and protecting your stores is part of it
