Playboy founder Hugh M. Hefner, the pipe-smoking hedonist who revved up the sexual revolution in the 1950s and built a multimedia empire of clubs, mansions, movies and television, symbolized by bow-tied women in bunny costumes, has died at age 91.
Hefner died of natural causes at his home surrounded by family tonight, Playboy said in a statement.

The sexual revolution was Satan's masterpiece. That's what heralded the abomination of abortion. It benefited no one but has hurt everyone.
And it created the need for even bigger government.
Yes. He had everything in this world, yet in an instant it was all stripped away. I shudder to think of the eternal reality that struck him the moment after he died.
Well I certainly hope that you are correct that “eternity is the opposite of what we have here,” for I have precious little by way of material blessings in this life! As I recall the good Lord said the same.
The Good Lord was the example: he lived a simple happy productive life here on Earth providing help and guidance to everyone who sought him. After all His sacrifice, He now sits atop all of creation. This place is definitely upside down from all that.
And it just irks the hedonists that people can be more happy than them without all their hedonist fakery, without their desperate fake fleeting feelings through drugs and material flashiness. The hedonists work so desperately hard for these fake things, and yet, simpler people are more happy and more content than they are.
The rat race of the hedonists is pure desperation.

Amen. I just find it revolting to see men on this forum revealing their secret admiration for a man who reveled in sexual immortality. And these same men boast that they are Christian.

I don’t think it was even good for Hef in the end. At least that was according to one of his latter day ‘girlfriends’ who testified that he “thrived” on having multiple girlfriends, with all the drama that ensued. None of the women was really allowed to go out and have their own life and he became more verbally abusive in the end.
“It’s what made him feel relevant and wanted and desired was to have these girls fighting over him,” she told Cosmopolitan, which is very sad even for a man half his age.
But he also sold liberal messages with it too. He was a brilliant case of knowing where to sell the message.
