I lasted five minutes before I turned off the TV.
A major league suck fest of a TV show.

I tried to watch that thing last night of curiosity, turned it off after about 10 minutes. I found it boring and considering it was supposed to be 10 years before the original Star Trek, the whole thing was wrong, uniforms included.

The NFL is just the beginning. This is a movement to tell the whole Leftist-Dominated Entertainment-Media Complex to Stuff It!

If you’re like me, you’re screwed.
As it is CBS’s nasty habit to shove the schedule down following a football game, my DVR started on time, but started out by playing twenty minutes of Oprah, then cutting Trek off twenty minutes early.

It amazes me that these people do not realize that alienating half of the population (potential viewers or customers) might be a bad idea.
I guess no geniuses on the cast.

Issues/problems/disagreements can only be solved if both parties have something they agree on as a basis for discussing the disputes and finding resolutions. Some of the things we have used in the past are
* The US Constitution
* Other laws
* A court system based on rule of law and jury of peers
* Accepted language (meaning of common words)
* A common history
* Common goals of success for the country
* Shared interests - from the right to life&liberty to the NFL
The people kneeling down seem to want to throw away EVERYTHING that we have ever used as a tool for compromising, agreeing, or even discussing problems. How do they see us moving forward if we ignore the Constitution and other laws? And if words don't have a historic meaning we can agree on (e.g. "fair", "discrimination", "racist") so we can't even communicate what issues we have trouble with? What is the framework or process for even trying to find common ground?
We can't even use math/statistics/measurements that the other side doesn't like. If 40 of 100 students graduate, that IS 40%. We should at least be able to cite that then discuss whether it's true and if so what it means, and not be shot down for even using a stat. Especially when the people disallowing it love to cite stats on "gun violence" as long as we avoid stats on the individuals involved.
No matter how well meaning these people are, there is no way forward if the only answer is for the other site to sit down, shut up, and accept whatever comes.
What are the kneelers willing to leave in place (for now at least) to use as a starting point for understanding each other? Throwing away all language, history, laws, and experience from 1000s of years is a non-starter.

Yup, that’s about right. And you have America’s (Not So) Funniest Videos, AKA “Ow, My Balls !”
We’re living in “Idiocracy.”

And don’t forget the promo stuff all year hitting us with the fact they have a “GAY SCIENCE OFFICER” and by the way did we mention “GAY SCIENCE OFFICER”?
And every five minutes “GAY SCIENCE OFFICER!!”
And isn’t it grand “GAY SCIENCE OFFICER”!!
/ End barftastic recollection.

Programmed for failure. Not one person in the photo thought this was a bad idea? Come on, they all know that you get fired and blacklisted for saying anything about people who are just exercising their freedom of speech.
