FULL TITLE: Ratings tumble: NFL's Sunday Night Football sees an eight percent decline in viewers following a weekend of criticism from President Donald Trump
The NFLs Sunday Night Football ratings were down again after a weekend in which President Donald Trump repeatedly criticized the leagues players for kneeling during the national anthem.
On a day when around 200 NFL players engaged in some form of protest against racial inequality in America by kneeling, sitting, locking arms, or raising a fist during the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner, the league endured its worst ratings for Sunday Night Football this season. The Washington Redskins 27-10 win over the visiting Oakland Raiders netted an 11.6 rating, which is the worst of the three Sunday night games this season, according to Deadline.com.
Thats down eight percent from the Week 2 Sunday night matchup between Atlanta and Green Bay and down 10 percent from the NFLs Week 3 game a year ago.
The Raiders-Redskins game peaked with a 12.5 in the second quarter, according to Deadline.com.

Heh. Well, they can still make money, but they cant sway elections by propagandizing the Chinese on gun control and gay marriage.

“The wife of one of the Titans says...”
Now the players are hiding behind their wife’s skirt.
True men.
Its going to get much worse for the NFL.

That’s right. No matter what they do from now on won’t matter. The NFL can go to Hell and stay there.
When it gets up around 20% I’ll get excited.
I will still attempt to watch Vikings games until I hear them acting like fools too.

What about the opposing teams? What if they disrespect the flag while the Vikings act properly?
That’s a good point. If this report is true, let the players confirm it. Otherwise take it with a large grain of salt.
An 8% drop represents more than a billion dollars to the NFL’s combined purse if it keeps up. Another 8% drop, and the NFL will be forced to cut a lot of players because the owners will pass the costs onto the players.
I’d love to see 25% drop tonight for MNF.
One step at a time, boycott one game at a time.
Talk to your friends—boycotting is fun!
We have the power—time to use it.
Soon they'll be down to no viewers, and Bob Costas and Mike Tirico can sit and question WHY? To no audience...
That’s why I make the attempt. If I see it, it’s off.
Wouldn’t you like to see some ‘fly-over’ school district, ban the wearing of NFL gear ?
I hope tonight’s game is an even bigger slide in viewership.
But the thing is that they will not contaminate our minds with their poorly thought out rationales for human behavior and disingenuous PAID COMMERCIAL supportive opinions. Find out and live the realities of life, tune those PAID acting humans out, and make them disappear from the airwaves.
I understand. thanks.

It will probably happen.
Thanks for that good information.
I am curious, proportionally, what percentage of white players and what percentage of black players...
Down 8% when compared to the game the week before; down 10% when compared to last year's week 3 game.
