They won’t need to waste their money marketing in San Francisco. Not only is it deep Lib Land, but the Giants are 38 games out of first.
(HA!)
There isn’t really an opportunity. Nobody is going to say “well I’m not watching the violent and powerful football anymore, so I guess I’ll watch the sedate and relaxed baseball instead. Especially given the fact that the MLB is getting less interesting as it becomes nothing but strikes and home runs with fewer and fewer balls in play.
They can market all they want, but baseball bores me as badly as golf, and that won’t change.
Okay, somebody has to post it, so I will. Here’s George Carlin’s classic baseball vs, football routine.

Baseball has far fewer black athletes than the NFL. And they have far fewer black fans. So they are more likely to be patriotic. Although their are a great deal of foreign baseball players that just stand in respect to the national anthem.
The Left is going to force minority players like Aaron Judge, etc. to voice their opinions. Very soon.
It’s gonna happen.
Many MLB stadiums have large sections of empty seats. That includes weekday, weekend and night games. Some teams do have a stable following, while others have fair-weather fans.
Fair-weather fans seem to show up only when their team is winning.
One would think they would lower the ticket and concessions prices to encourage people to attend. Maybe they make enough from the TV network broadcasting that they don’t need live audiences.
Here’s a marketing suggestion mantra-
MLB: You can’t take a knee in baseball.
Player hits run into seats as announcer says Baseball.
Fades to American flag waving in wind.
Announcer: “Good For America”.
