Fox News Website now looks too similar to the MSM to be a coincidence. Part of a larger goal to move left or simply to conform to a perceived current norm?
Not the same but quite similar...
We are in the process of CUTTING the cord with cable. Now have UHF antenna in attic and receive close to 90 channels (many of which are foreign language), but will still have access to the 3 majors for non-political national/weather emergency news only when needed. Going STREAMING via internet and ONE AMERICA NEWS for political stuff. Savings? about 70 bucks per month! If you live within 50 miles or so of a big city, investigate UHF availability in your area. Good antennas cheap compared to the constantly hiked cable BS prices!
With few exceptions (Hannity, Tucker, Pirro)
FOX is listing so far to port, they should drown soon!
I live in a big city and am sick and tired of getting *^%$ by the two monopolies -AT&T/COMCAST. Would love to learn how to DITCH CABLE and just have internet.
Thanks.
A couple of times per day, I check out Fox’s internet site.
It is fairly clean re the anti Trump fake news and bs.
Also, I can pick and choose any item, I might be interested in. So in a couple of minutes, I get a fast and fairly accurate update of what is happening nationwide and worldwide.
It’s not so much the hardware (PC Desktop, phone, tablet, etc) but the resolution (ie size) of the browser. Desktops/laptops have more ‘real estate’ to view information where as mobile devices have more restricted size. A lot of times these days, if you view a webpage on a mobile device you will notice that the page is less ‘cluttered’ and more streamlined. A lot of times you will also see a link that indicates it’s a ‘mobile site’ and that if you click the link it will take you to the ‘desktop site’. If you do this the page will look more cluttered and images and information may be compressed or look unorganized. They used to have to maintain different sites for each device, now you can have a single site that will recognize the size of the screen it’s being rendered to and adjust the layout accordingly. Save a lot of money for those maintaining the software.
That’s how software works, a style becomes to current style and everybody follows. Open the latest version of each browser that’s still under dev to all the same site and without looking at the icon in bar tell the difference. Visual styles lean towards being the same, and when the goal is the same (they’re all “news” sites) they’re all trying to solve the same problem.
No conspiracy.
If you want to see conformity take a look at any Gannet owned newspaper. All the websites have the same layout.
Same with certain television news stations.
Go to YouTube and type “How to get free UHF TV” into the search bar. It’s all there. And the UHF signal — UNLIKE THE HIGHLY COMPRESSED CABLE SIGNAL — is FANTASTIC.
Keep us posted.
Looks like they put a blurb on the web page explaining this.
