What's next for Danica Patrick after losing her NASCAR Cup Series ride?

What now?
Thats the question Danica Patrick faces now that she knows for certain she will not return to Stewart-Haas Racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series next season. And considering that she barely scrapped enough funding together to keep the No. 10 afloat this season, it means her options are limited if she wants to remain in a competitive seat.
So what are her options?
From the outside looking in, its hard to see how Patrick remains in the Cup Series with a competitive ride, and she has continually discounted options in other divisions.
But for the sake of conversation, lets evaluate every potential landing spot and determine how realistic each of them are.

180 starts... 0 wins. She was actually a bit better as an Indy car driver, and did get one win there (I think it was a fuel-mileage thing).

"Did she ever win anything?"
I think she won one Indy car race about eight years ago. I think it was in Japan.

Not in NASCAR. Best was Pole at Daytona ‘13. Came in 8th at Daytona during tandem racing era
Won rain shortened Indy Car race in Japan in ‘08(?)

I'm curious where you got this info. Wikipedia says she was born in Wisconsin to Beverly Ann (nee Flaten) and Terry Jose Patrick, Jr., and that her mother's family is "of entirely Norwegian descent." And apparently she grew up in Illinois.
Danica Patrick.

Go home and make some chocolate chip cookies, get a glass of milk, and a good book to read.

She should probably return to Indy Car Racing. She would probably be a lot more competitive there after her time in NASCAR.
But as the article points out, she hasn't expressed any interest in going back to Indy Racing. That's too bad.

You know I’ve heard her commentate on a race. She knows the tracks from a drivers perspective. Maybe a TV booth job would be a good job for her.
NASCAR can’t handle losing all her fans. My wife is one. Wait until I tell her.

It's a dangerous business.
I might think about retirement after that one at Talladega this year.

My wife is a long way from being a feminist but she believes the guys are always trying to wreck Danica. I just enjoy looking at her. Danica, too.

Kind of extreme, but a Playboy type layout could produce cash. Another few years and that will not be an option.

I'd be interested in interviewing her. I have several Positions I think she'd be awesome in.😀

The evil men. They wouldn’t let her win!

It says all that needs to be said about the current state of NASCAR, that she has a ride and Elliott Sadler is still languishing in the Xfinity series and Kenseth is still rideless after this season. And they wonder why ratings are down...
