Mere seconds into the celebrity-filled benefit concert for victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma did these stars turn the ostensible charitable event into a platform for left-wing sermonizing.
Stevie Wonder, who kicked off the show, began with call for unity, but then turned to mock anyone who questioned the global warming theory.
"When love goes into action, it preferences no color of skin, no ethnicity, no religious beliefs, no sexual preferences, and no political persuasions," Mr. Wonder began. "It just loves. As we should begin to love and value our planet."
But after calling for love, he singled out skeptics of man-made climate change for derision.
"Anyone who believes that there is no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent," Mr. Wonder said. "Lord, please save us all."

What the hell is a Beyonce anyways? Is that Swahili for “the cattle are dying”? Seriously, has it ever occured to these fools that they are being used as tokens when it comes to the environment? Isn’t it strange how the enviro movement is so overwhelmingly lily White? When was the last time a Brother saved a whale? Or a Sister saved a polar bear? Hell, I see more diversity at a NASCAR race.
Is Stevie Wonder still pretending to be blind ?
Biggest fraud of them all, right there.
And TV shows and movies into vehicles for leftist political agenda indoctrination. An episode of TV show Blacklist (new episodes on Netflix) had the lead character bloviating about climate change. Leftists cannot resist inserting their agenda into everything, and completely ruining what is supposed to be "entertainment."
So true.
I donate clothes, shoes, furniture, NOT CASH, I don’t trust them!
Thank heaven for dvr. The actual Texas portion of that telecast was awesome! Many thanks to Matthew McConaughey, George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Robert Earl Keen and the one and only Lyle Lovett

I give to Samaritan’s Purse but your mileage may vary.

George Strait - Texas Hurricane Relief
I assume he was being ironic when he was calling others blind . . .
They DO ruin everything. Cant watch TV, sports, or even a humanitarian fundraiser for hurricane victims without them politicizing it.
Because nothing proclaims “we care” like a neo-communist diatribe.
They only raised $14 million while the telethon was on. If they really cared, they’d get all of those disgusting anti-Trumpers on stage, entertainment celebrities and overpaid professional athletes, and announce how much money they’re giving. Otherwise, I’ll find more personal ways to help. I’m not prepared to subsidize “charities” with high-income leadership.
Will the lib celebrities EVER realize that they’re in the minority now? Every day PDJT is becoming more and more popular. Hollywood is losing business. They must have a death wish when it comes to their careers.
These hurricanes were horrible, for sure. Nobody is saying how incredible it is that loss of life wasn't hundreds of times greater. They're not saying thank God Trump is President, because he knows how to organize and implement massive projects. And nobody is saying that climate would change significantly if there weren't hurricanes.
Really? I knew this would be what they’d do. No intention to ever watch a “fund raiser” ever again because of this crap. I stopped years ago.
Liberals are not generous about donating their own money, IMO. Wonder how successful this telethon will be if conservatives didn’t participate.
Hope they grow up someday and/or become more educated.
hurricanes used to be a lot worse than they are now.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Gee... the Gulf of Mexico has warm waters. Who knew?
