I’m surprised they haven’t murdered her.

Scientology is evil and Leah is very courageous to fight it, so too Katie Holmes (to a lesser degree.)

Add to that Nicole Kidman. Scientology getting ready to implode.

I guarantee you, her acceptance speech got a great deal of attention among the Scientologists in Hollywood.
She already knows many of her former friends and family will be under instruction never to speak to her again.

Why free people are so ready to give in to dictators is beyond me.

Katie and Nicole have never spoken out against it.

A brief moment of sanity in the looney land of Hollywood.
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
In the brainless world of the entertainment industry, the woman with two brain cells is queen for a day.

Scientology...
Comic book Cult.

My thoughts, too. She has the courage of her convictions. Wish more could be done for those who have had their minds “controlled” over time.

I’m surprised the leaders of Scientology have not been murdered yet. I would imagine a 20+ year person leaving the cult would be experiencing the loss of a chunk of their life and would be pissed.

One of the commenters at the source put it best:
When you see Kathy Griffin holding a decapitated head, Sarah Silverman calling for a military coup or Madonna talking about burning the White House down you forget there is a woman in Hollywood who is trying to help people and isnt an idiot. Who is also brave. Congratulations.

“When you see Kathy Griffin holding a decapitated head, Sarah Silverman calling for a military coup or Madonna talking about burning the White House down..”
Scientology and liberalism. Both intolerant and dangerous cults.

It is a different time with church much weaker than when he and Nicole split which leaves Katie free to make movies about mental illness, psychiatry and the like. She seems to have done amazingly well in throwing them off her track actually.
