I love Wal*Mart, but I hate a lot of their cotton clothing, especially if it comes from India.
Is it just me? Makes me itch right away, a lingering itch.
And today I tried on some cotton clothes from Pakistan --same problem.
I’ve used some things like t-shirts and pull
over tees from Walmart without any problem.
Good luck in finding a solution.
Are you saying black slaves made better cotton than Pakastani slaves? I hear a fight coming.
I am not a fan of Walmart tho I do a lot of shopping there simply because there is not much else I can do.
A few weeks ago, they put a bunch of pull over shirts on clearance. They resemble the old Lacoste shirts. I have trouble finding my size, 3XL.
They were marked down to $3 and that was an even better deal as the 3XL are always $2 extra.
The shirts are very comfortable and look nice. I just pulled mine off and here is what is printed on the inside collar.
“Since 1972” “Faded Glory” 3XL/3XG (54-56). “Made in Pakistan” “100% Cotton”.
Well the Pakistan connection is not good but then it was extremely cheap, has been washed a few times already and is color fast. Yes it really does look good and is comfortable. Pretty hard to beat for $3.
Are you using dryer sheets. I’ve always considered them a form of fiberglass.
Not me
It has me lusting for something else.
Interesting explanation.
Thanks....
I wouldn’t worry too much. I’m sure they don’t have any nasty skin diseases over there.
Can’t say I blame you. But what would you lust for if you wore say a ..., oh, never mind.
Soak your shirts in saltwater for 3 days. Then rinse well & wash normally.
Thank you,
.
Maybe you are allergic to cotton .... try some silk undies and see how that works out!
How much white vinegar should be used?
LOL!!
I was on a flight a few years back with a woman who imported leather jackets from (Pakistan?). She told me they either tanned or preserved the leather with gasoline. She said there was nothing she could do to get the smell out (not to mention the danger of shipping something like that).
Information should be labeled on how fabrics there of any kind are processed.
I love Wal*Mart
Well there’s your problem right there. You love junk from china.
I buy my t-shirts at thrift stores, cheap and usually been thru the wringer a few times. Still need to wash b/f wearing to be safe.
