Every time I log into Free Republic, Malwarebytes gives me a "malicious website" alert although it does connect. Anyone else have this problem?

No, I use the premium malwarebytes, and have had no problem.

Norton used to do the same thing.

Have used both for years and never had any issue like that.

Malware Bytes Pro version (30 day demo) running on my Alcatel Android is not having any problems, or reporting anything at all regarding Free Republic.
Desktop has Norton and MetaCert, also no problems reported with Free Republic.

It’s a web reputation which is usually service run by another company. They just haven’t scanned this website to certify it. Doesn’t mean anything.
To: pabianice
I’m also using Malwarebytes (full), no issues with Free Republic. Have you run a scan?
To: pabianice
Better run a scan of your PC. I have Malwarebytes Pro and it never blocks FR. I do get blocks on some other sites though.

Not me, I have the prem version and have never had a warning from FR.
To: pabianice
I use Webroot and never have had a problem with this site in terms of it getting flagged.

If you are not already, try using the secure URL to view and log in. Set your bookmark to it. Maybe it was just alerting you that the log in is not secure if you were using the old http only address?
(Apologies if you were already doing this.)
Here is the link for secure login:

The only site that was ever blocked was the internet football sites.

I noticed the same thing.
Started last week and never seen it previously.
Doesn’t block me from accessing FR but gives warning.
Only shows up occasionally.

I get this on some other sites I frequent and I ignore it as nothing negative is found via scan.

My comments are considered ‘malwarebytes’, because Liberty is a forbidden subject. Just read whenever I have not posted.
