Until last year, Ninotska Love would have been barred from attending Wellesley College. She’s an accomplished student who has persevered through hardship, but under longstanding rules, the college would have rejected her because she was assigned at birth as a boy.
Now the rules have changed. This week, Love will become one of the first transgender women to attend Wellesley in the school’s 147-year history.
“For me to be accepted to one of the best colleges for women in the nation, it is a big validation of the person that I have become. At first I couldn’t believe it,” said Love, 28, who was born in Ecuador but fled to the U.S. in 2009 after being kidnapped and threatened because of her gender identity. “I’m so thankful to be here.”
Her arrival on campus reflects a quiet but momentous shift that’s taking place at a wave of women’s colleges that have begun allowing trans women. But even as many schools embrace shifting views on gender, some have been reluctant to change amid lingering differences over the role of women’s colleges. …

That “assigned” propaganda buzzword has been all over the media for quite a few months this year.
Believe it or not, she was head of the Young Republicans Club there for the 1966-67 year.
Women used to be the guardians of religion, morality and decency in society. What the heck happened?

the doctor just “assigned” the gender ???
Doctor “well nurse what will we call this one ?”
Nurse One “Doctor we haven’t had a boy all day...”
“Oh well then let this one be a boy...take note of that for the parents”
Nurse Two “I think they wanted a girl though”
Doctor “They can change it later. for now lets just go with “boy”
Yeah see the doctors fault for being so busy that day that he didn’t take the time to “assign” the gender the parents preferred...
Not to mention the child was never consulted...
The doctor just slapped any old gender on the poor baby and didn’t care what he err she might think about the “assignment”
When the first transgender-on-woman assault takes place on one of the women-only colleges, we’ll see if the real women on campus will complain about it.
Dang! I am going to smear some lipstick on my craggy, stubbly man face,’enroll in college, and see if I can’t get put in a woman’s dorm. After all, wouldn’t every coed like a 40-ish, crabby-ass tranny?
