My kids have used Uber or Lyft over 100 times already. It is cheap and there is a record with the company who is picking you up. So much safer than climbing into a street cab with foreign driver.

i use uber all the time out here, in fact as recently as last half hour. was a mercedes with a well dressed young man who got out and opened the door for me.
never seen anyone with tats or piercings, don't now how you got that idea.
uber rocks in my opinion. i rarely drive into the city anymore myself.
