Need A Ride From SJO At 1:30PM Tomorrow (29 Aug}

Hi everyone,
I'm arriving at San Jose airport on Tuesday the 29th at 1:00PM, and need a short ride to my family's house a short distance away.
My 87 year old dad just passed and I'm flying in from Texas to attend his funeral. None of my family members can pick me up, and I don't want to put myself at the mercy of some Uber driver with piercings and tattoos, nor do I trust foreign taxi drivers.
If anyone in the San Jose area can give me a lift to my dad's house (less than ten miles), I'll be very grateful.
I'd rent a car, but my eyesight is just barely good enough for me to drive on familiar local streets. I dare not try it in an area I'm unfamiliar with.

Hate to be picky but SJO is in Costa Rica...SJC is in Calufornia So I've been informed.
Back in my Teamster days (thirty years ago) SJO was the designation for San Jose, California. Its stuck with me all these years.

I know. I made the same mistake about ten years ago. Was buying a ticket for my kid let to come home from college . Booked her onto a flight to SJO...thought the price was a bit high but I was buying late. Then I read the big red warning label that said she needed to bring her passport with her on the flight. I know Cali is foreign territory but I mean really.... That’s when I discovered the change. I still forget.....but I was just booking to go back in September to visit friends.
Anyway. Sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers for you and yours.
