Over 100,000 cans of water will soon be arriving in Texas for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The much-needed water is being donated by Anheuser-Busch, which periodically halts beer production at its Cartersville, Georgia factory to produce canned drinking water for emergencies, according to the company.
The water should arrive in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday. About 50,000 cans have already arrived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in anticipation of the heavy rainfall the area may receive as the tropical storm moves east.
...
The donation is being made in response to the American Red Cross call for emergency drinking water.

We had those in Biloxi after Katrina and after the flooding in Des Moines in 1993.
Their product is pretty near water as it is.
“Their product is pretty near water as it is.”
I was thinking the same...people are at least being spared their main products.
Water?!? I need a beer [not that AB would know anything much about that].
Used water.
Sad thing was no one noticed a difference! #rimshot
They may as well send their beer as it is darn near water...
Anheuser-Busch has been canning water for free distribution in hurricane disaster zones for several decades....If my memory is correct.
Ah, the Freeper “let’s criticize almost any good deed” platoon is present. Or perhaps I’m just not appreciating their ‘humor.’
Haters gonna hate
“Anheuser-Busch Cans Water...”
They’re being nice, so I won’t make the obvious joke. Besides, it’s way better than Coors Lite or Corona.
Drank a lot of those during the 1993 floods in Des Moines
