The Louisiana Center for Children's Rights has a graph on its website that shows that in 2013, 96 percent of the juveniles who were arrested in Orleans Parish were black. If you think that's outrageous, then you should look at the statistic from 2014 when 97 percent of the juvenile arrests in Orleans Parish were of black children. But, wait, there's more. In 2015, the last year that's on the LCCR's graph, 99 percent of the juveniles arrested in Orleans Parish were black.
Those statistics bring to mind a point that author Michelle Alexander makes in "The New Jim Crow," her powerful condemnation of mass incarceration and the War on Drugs that has fueled it:
"If 100 percent of the people arrested and convicted for drug offenses were African American, the situation would provoke outrage among the majority of Americans who consider themselves nonracist and who know very well that Latinos, Asian Americans, and whites also commit drug crimes. We, as a nation, seem comfortable with 90 percent of the people arrested and convicted of drug offenses in some states being African American, but if the figure were 100 percent, the veil of colorblindness would be lost."
Few books have had a more powerful influence on my thinking than Alexander's. She left Ohio State University Law School last year to join the faculty of Union Theological Seminary in New York, but she'd already given us a sermon for our age in "The New Jim Crow." I hadn't previously been able to find any fault in her argument.
But I'm looking at that figure showing that 99 percent of Orleans Parish juvenile arrests were of black children, and I can't make myself believe that New Orleanians would have expressed outrage if that number were 100 percent. We were silent when 99 of

It is the same sort of ratio around the world.
It boils down to this
Give a group of whites a mountain of bricks, and in a month they will build a city.
Give a group of blacks a city, and in a month they will give you a mountain of bricks.
I offer Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit and a host of other US cities and the nation of Zimbabwe as examples.

A white sheriff in a predominantly black county stopped by where I was working to look at the progress on his collector car. He related a story about a “huge” marihuana bust of a white couple that had taken place the previous weekend. It was all over the press. He said, (approximately) “It was ridiculous. They had a minor amount and it was almost all leaves and stems. They didn’t have any idea about the product. It was strictly home grown. I wanted to toss it. But we were instructed to throw the book at them because they were white and we are constantly being beat up on for arresting so many blacks.”
This is the same county that traded five of their prisoners to my county for five whites so they wouldn’t be considered racist for having 100% black prisoners. The whites didn’t make it a week before they were all in the hospital.
There is racism, but it isn’t what people think of as racism.
If 96% of juvenile crime in New Orleans is committed by black youth, then why should we be surprised that 96% of the arrested are black?
Statistics can be rendered to support nearly any author’s foregone conclusions.
Her goal was to get rid of human weeds.
Yes they did and white girls and women aborted their babies in record numbers, so much so that the bulk of drug and crime arrests are of black and brown babies, now all grown up!

Sounds like busing (which quietly died when the neighborhoods expected to sacrifice their white children quickly emptied of whites)...
Back at the beginning of Roe v. Wade, blacks were 12% of the American population. Today they are still at 12%. That is an indication that Sanger’s model is working quite well because without abortion they would have increased their percentage.
The New Jim Crow is the insistence that Negroes obey laws. That is patently racist and does not take account of cultural differences.
What percent of crimes were these "juveniles" committing?
So the NOLA cops just sweep the streets of black “children?” Whites, hispanics, asians, move along, nothing to see, we just need to round up these black children so we don’t mess up our quota system. Idiots beyond belief in the media.
This Childrens’ Rights Center sounds like a branch of the Southern Poverty Law Center, an extreme left wing group swimming in money and willing to say anything to try and prove whites are evil, all others are saints.
The goals of busing are still pursued with an array of school district schemes.
I haven’t heard of it for years; the unintended consequence of busing here in the northeast was probably similar to what happened with integration in the South decades ago: The growth of private schools, and further segregation in housing.
