Waaay more replies than any UFC thread I’ve done. ;d
That was borne out by the enormous number of wealthy people and celebs attending the Mayweather MCGregor fight.
McGregor did a good job against the greatest defensive fighter of all time, and one of the best boxers of all time.. Mayweather "mixed it up" a lot more than he usually does, accepting getting hit, both to give the fans a good fight and because I don't think he feared McGregor's punching power. In 49 previous fights he had to have encountered a few good punchers. Of course he doesn't get hit that often because of his elusiveness. That means he's not taken as many beatings as most fighters with now 50 pro fights.
Dana White press conference on ESPN, he’s flanked by 2 busty chicks in Corona bikinis.
Trump should do this at his next rally!
MCGregor should have used the CocoNutt Headbutt.
His older brother was named “Indian Red” Lopez, hence the name “Little Red” Lopez. Both were fair skinned red haired. I ran across Little Red in the Baskin-Robins next to where I used to work in El Monte Calif after visiting the bank on Friday night (remember those days?). A group of us from work used to go see the fights at the Olympic Auditorium on Thursdays. Sometimes the fights in the seats were better than the fights in the ring.
Don’t know if anyone’s posted this yet.

Don't get me wrong, they've got the right to do it even if they're at high risk of dain bramage from it, and people have the right to tune in if they want to. Just not me. Life changes, you know?
Well that went pretty much like I thought it would; that if McGregor didn’t put him away by round 3 or 4 he would gas out.
But that’s only if this was legit. After watching all 10 rounds I feel it was all BS. Gotta say, great marketing guys you made a mint lol.
LOL I figured you would weigh in on this one. Couldn’t agree more; I’ve done martial arts for years but if you think I’d give a good boxer a fair fight you’re crazy.
LOL
Actually I got carried away with that blanket statement.
I know the Kim brothers out here on Staten Island (they have tons of karate schools) and I worked with two of them for a while somewhere else.
They would do simple things that would leave me immobilized or in pain lol
I got to punch them in the stomach one time. HARD. They gasped a little then walked away like it was nothing!
But the BEST street fight i EVER saw was a Kim brother fighting this Irish/Italian kid. They Kim brother must have kicked him 50 times while on the ground but this crazy kid wouldn’t stop!! He finally got the Kim brother in a head lock and another Kim brother broke it up, saying a head lock was “unfair”.
I dont see why :)
Boy did i go into a ramble lol!!
Reliving Glory Days LONG past!!
LOL...yeah I had a “friendly spar” slap-box match with a good boxer years ago; he started giving me the buisness but got too serious so I had to flow to a double-leg and choke to avoid real damage...we hugged it out but it definitely widened my perspective on boxing. Next time I’m picking up a chair or a monkey wrench lol.
I don’t know much about either sport, but McGregor’s style somehow looked too ‘loose’ for boxing. He seemed to waste a lot of energy instead of concentrating it.
I guess the folks who paid big bucks got their fun out of it.
That was very entertaining!
LOL if anything was proven by this, it’s that there is no way a boxer can out FIGHT a mixed martial artist. They will probably outBOX them though.
Of course, boxing is a very narrow discipline. And you can’t turn your back to stop a flurry of punches in MMA
