The Art of Landscapes - Images from Daily Mail to the music of Joseph Blanchard
YouTube ^

There are few things more beautiful than an artfully composed photograph of nature. And Daily Mail has more than its share of images of landscape art. To the music of Joseph Blanchard.

TOPICS: Arts/Photography; Music/Entertainment; Outdoors
KEYWORDS: fanvid; landscape; musicvideo; nature
I really do click frequently on the Daily Mail pages to see my favorite images again and again. I think I won't have to as often, anymore, since I can now spin through them all at once.

Very nice. Would suggest viewing the YouTube slideshow on full screen.

The one you linked to. :)

The images are a lot more dramatic if viewed on full screen.

To do this with YouTube videos, simply click on the little bracketed box [] at the lower right of the video.

Thank you - I change screen backgrounds regularly, those first two reminded me Autumn is not too far away and those lovely pictures from the Vermont and New Hampshire countryside in full color glory will soon be here.

Sorry for my confusion. Thought YouTube might have a feature I didn’t know about. I do tend to be technically naive at times. I link to playlists since each video is usually part of a set. I just assume that everyone full screens the video when it’s playing, as I do with other YouTube pieces. But thanks for the suggestion. That was kind.

I always keep the same image. Husband keeps up our old pets, which drives our current one mad because he watches TV and the sight of a dog on a computer screen sends him into a barking frenzy. Autumn for me was always exciting because it was the start of a new school year. Opportunities awaiting. Now I just think it’s when Polly’s Pancake Parlor closes in Sugar Hill NH. Sigh. Thank goodness for mail order.

That makes sense. And they may well have a separate slide show feature, apart from a series of still presented in a standard video such as the one you linked to. I really don't know. As for most people regularly clicking full screen to watch videos there, I doubt it.

YAH!!! SURVEY!!!

>>people regularly clicking full screen to watch videos there

Do you click videos full screen or not?

Me: I always do if it’s President Trump. I sometimes do if it’s anyone else. I always do for music videos.

No, I personally don’t automatically click full screen, the main reason being, once you do, all of the other stuff you have going on (on the computer) at the time becomes ‘invisible’ behind it. I like to multi-task when on the ‘puter.

I live in a house full of computers. Husband builds them faster than I can look around. He claims they all have purposes. I have to trust him. But we have a computer devoted to watching YouTube and the DVD player that plays British shows, so I never have to multi-task there. My personal computer runs with two video screens, and can slave to the YouTube computer with no sound, so I can full screen on the left and work with access to the background on the right. Only time I need both screens is video making. Once when I was dusting the antiques cabinet, husband walked up and put a motherboard in, since he claimed it was an antique. Still there.
