Let’s see - McConnell was at an 18 percent approval rating this morning in his home state of Kentucky whereas Trump was at a 60 percent approval rating. Just who is headed for the political scrapheap, the president who can be brash but accomplishes what he does (and that’s quite a bit) primarily through executive order, and the Senate Majority leader who accomplishes nothing legislatively?
