Obama would have but Trump just refuses to order the sun and the moon to stop. Hillary would just stop the clock with her glare so it will still be Sunday when the eclipse happens.

Dear concerned mother. Texas isn't in the path of totality. All the areas not in the path of totality will at best witness a slight dimming of the output of light from the sun. A cloud obscuring the sun would be more dramatic. If you look at the sun through protective lenses or indirectly projected onto some surface you will see part of the sun being bit away by the moon. It will look something like this. Interesting but not much drama.

Oh well then, we’ve had our fun...she was not asking that they reschedule the eclipse, just the party! (Which would then have to be renamed the pre-eclipse or post-eclipse party!) Still, its humerous.
