Besides that, they could collaborate with terrorists indeed.

I read somewhere that the containers are scanned for radiation but still probably easier than missiles.

Because a nuke detonated at ground level is not worth much. To really get the effect you gotta have it up in the air a few thousand feet.

Our ports are well protected against nuke materials. A ship coming into NYC was stopped a long way out and was found to be hauling green tiles that had uranium as the colorant in the finish.
They were stopped quite a ways from NYC.

All the agitation now is about the missiles.
North Korea has been testing nuclear weapons since 2006.
Just how big the bombs were, I don't know, but if they wanted to nuke us with a non-missile delivered bomb, maybe they'd have done so by now.
Please don't just decide we need to go to war and make up the reasons afterwards.

And even if it comes in on a missile, who says we're going to see it coming.
It's a big ocean and those little subs are hard to find - and they have a
lot of them.

The US ports are full of shipping containers.
Low speed, low tech delivery.

It’s not just nuclear weapons either. He’s been building chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction, and their delivery systems as well.
Though I hate to quote Aljazeera,
“Experts in the South said on Friday that North Korea had up to 5,000 tonnes of chemical weapons stockpiled, including a supply of VX.”

We certainly won’t stop them. We can’t seem to stop hundreds of thousands of illegals walking in so what’s a couple nukes?

Such a delivery method might — might — suffice for one terrorist type attack, but it would not provide the wave of nuclear bombs delivered all at once necessary to inflict major, disabling damage on one or more of North Korea’s enemies. In any event, it seems likely that North Korea’s offensive nuclear war plan assumes coordination with China, and that China would not want to risk general nuclear war just for Fatty Kim to get a single nuclear hit in on a North Korean adversary.

They could FedEx one to us.

Put them on a 35’ yacht and cruise into the center of all our Coastal, Great Lakes and other cities situated on major rivers.
No port scanning of containers to worry about.

You are correct. This is why the liberals should be skeeered sheeetless. One mini nuke on a boat or a truck would take out a massive number of democrat voters in the city they would surely target.
